Harrington Over-Bets Herself Back to Start

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Mark MacNabb opened for 3,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Katie Harrington in the big blind. She made a three-bet to 9,000, which received a quick call from her opponent.

The flop fell 3J10 and Harrington jammed in her stack of 26,800 chips. "You've got it," MacNabb exclaimed while mucking his cards.

Harrington was kind enough to show the table her KK as the pot was shipped in her direction.

Cunningham Shows Unconventional Hand

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Tom Parsons raised to 2,400 from the cutoff and his nemesis Barry McMahon reraised to 7,200 from the button. Jamie Cunningham then jammed all-in from the big blind for roughly 35,000 chips, and the action was back on Parsons.

Parsons thought about it for a good while but settled on a fold, and McMahon quickly followed suit. Elated, Cunningham showed the aggressive players 106 for an airball, much to the amusement of the table.

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Yuan Hai open-raised from under the gun before Dylan Yip shoved all-in for 11,400 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Hai, who made the call to put Yip at risk.

Dylan Yip: 55
Yuan Hai: 44

Yip's dominating pocket pair held as the board ran out 293QJ, and he doubled up to a more manageable stack. Hai, meanwhile was left with less than 15 big blinds to play with.

Verbraeken Turns on O'Brien

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Gerard O'Brien got his stack of 15,500 in the middle from early position and was called by Jan Verbraeken in the cutoff, who had the covering stack.

Gerard O'Brien: KQ
Jan Verbraeken: AQ

O'Brien stood up, but he flopped top pair on 4K10. The J saw Verbraeken turn Broadway, however, and O'Brien was left to just chop outs. The 10 river did not bring them, and he said his goodbyes to his former table mates.

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
John Holmes
John Holmes

John Holmes raised preflop and found one caller in Paul Carr. On the subsequent 658 flop, Holmes continued for 3,500 and Carr raised to 9,500. Holmes put in the call and the A was turned.

Holmes retook the betting lead with a bet of 14,000, and Carr put in the same amount for a call. On the 8 river, Holmes checked, after which Carr shoved in his stack of 23,700.

Holmes thought it over for a good while but eventually flicked in a call.

"You win," Carr exclaimed, as he flashed his 72 for a busted straight draw.

"I have king-high," Holmes stated as he turned over his KQ for the winning hand. He scooped a huge pot and left the table amazed by his daring call.
