With some 230,000 in the middle to the K♥9♥2♣J♦Q♥ river, Grzegorz Derkowski bet 75,000 out of the big blind. Leonid Yanovski went deep into the tank from an early position and talked through all possible scenarios.
"You could be value betting ace-ten ..." he concluded and called some thirty seconds later. Derkowski had done just that with the A♦K♠10♦8♦ and Yanovski chopped holding A♠10♣9♠7♣.
Shenghe Yang and Juergen Pollack had just played a pot at this table where Pollack shoved for 253,000 on the flop and Yang called, but both players finished with kings and fours to split the pot.
Shortly afterward, August Schlegl and Holger Jakubowski went to the turn on a board of 9♣4♣5♦K♠ where Schlegl bet 50,000 in the small blind. Jakubowski then moved all in for 213,000 in middle position and Schlegl called with Q♣J♥10♠9♦.
Jakubowski had A♥K♥K♦2♥ for a set, but the Q♦ river gave Schlegl a straight and the bustout.
"Bye, bye," Jakubowski said to the table as he made his exit.
Three ways to the Q♦J♦5♣ flop, Vasileios Chatzilazarou and Fabian Riebau-Schmithals checked. Only the former then called a bet worth 75,000 by Mustafa Biz and jammed the 4♠ turn, Biz called for the 140,000 he had behind.
Mustafa Biz: J♣J♠10♦9♥
Vasileios Chatzilazarou: K♦K♥3♦2♥
Chatzilazarou had straight and flush outs at his disposal but the 5♠ river only improved Biz to a full house.
Marco Di Persio recalled a hand in which he boosted his stack significantly. According to the Italian, he opened to 15,000 with A♦KxJ♦9x and Denis Vladimirov three-bet to 45,000 on the button for Di Persio to call.
He then check-called three barrels for 55,000 on the AxKx9x flop, 145,000 on the 2♦ turn and 300,000 on the 6♥ river. Vladimirov showed QxQ♥8♥7♥ for air and lost a lot of his chips.
On the neighbouring table, Vasyl Pidhrushnyi showed proof that he had used his one time against Thanh Trung Tran in a preflop all-in. Pidhrushnyi got it in with the A♥Q♣J♣7♥ on the button and Tran held the K♦K♠9♠7♠ in the cutoff.
The board ran out A♣K♣10♥A♦A♠ and the roller coaster runout gave Pidhrushnyi quads.
On the same table, Emily Perrinjaquet was all-in for 100,000 with the Q♦Q♥10♥2♣ on the K♠J♣9♠ flop. Benjamin Alacam had the K♦K♥J♠6♦ for top set but bricked the 7♥ turn and 10♠ river.
Alacam was then all-in preflop, and so was Tran as both were looked up by Thiago Silva De Morgado.
Benjamin Alacam: K♦10♠5♥4♥
Thanh Trung Tran: A♣K♠10♥6♥
Thiago Silva De Morgado: 9♦8♥6♠4♠
The 8♠7♦6♦7♣J♠ board gave Alacam a straight for the triple up while Tran was eliminated in the side pot.
Adolf Buettner bet the K♠5♥2♠Q♠ turn for 28,000 and Sebastian Langrock called.
The J♥ river was checked by both players and Buettner shrugged, then flashed just the J♦. Langrock showed his A♦K♣Q♦J♣ and won the pot.
Seamus Cahill then limped in and Inaki Gonzales raised to 27,000 for Buettner in the big blind and Cahill to call. The A♦K♥6♦ flop saw Gonzales bet the pot for 96,000 when checked to and Buettner called while Cahill folded.
That led to the 5♥ turn on which Buettner checked again. Gonzales moved all-in and forced a snap-fold.
Blind versus blind, Marek Uharcek and Joao Estanislau went to the 9♣3♦7♣ flop where Marek Uharcek got his last 79,000 in the middle.
Marek Uharcek: 9♥7♠6♦5♦
Joao Estanislau: 10♥8♣7♥5♥
Uharcek was ahead with two pair while Estanislau was on a straight draw. The 10♦ turn gave Estanislau a better two pair and the lead heading to the 4♣ river, which moved Uharcek back in front with a straight and secured him a double up.
