Burlacu Cracks Henriques' Kings For a Lucky Double

Robert Burlacu moved all in for 250,000 in middle position and Daniel Henriques called under the gun.

Burlacu had run right into Henriques' kings and was at risk of elimination until the flop brought J♣J♠6♠, giving him trips. The board ran out 4♠7♣ and Burlacu doubled up.

"Wow. What a lucky man. I knew he was going to win. I know him," tablemate Alain Hajj said.

"How do you jam before the flop with king-jack, 11, 12 big blinds?" Hajj added.

"Now my mother won't give me money to play anymore," Burlacu replied.

Khouzami Gets Paid by Gunes in Big Pot

Heads-up on a flop of Q♦10♠4♣, Anthony Khouzami bet 70,000 from the cutoff and Caner Gunes called in the big blind.

The turn was the 3♥ and Khouzami bet 260,000. Gunes quickly called and they saw the 3♣ fall on the river. Khouzami then fired out 600,000.

Gunes again called and Khouzami turned over A♣Q♣ for top pair. Gunes tossed the Q♠ into the muck as Khouzami took down the big pot.

Drokin's nines remained in the lead through the turn on a board of Q♥Q♣7♥7♦, but Toderita hit the A♠ on the river to make two pair and double up.

"I wait and I wait," Toderita said as he took in the pot.

Guy Gorelik opened from under the gun and made the call when Adrian State three-bet on his immediate left.

Gorelik checked the Q♣Q♠4♠ flop, making the call after State continued for 55,000.

Another check from Gorelik on the 8♦ turn was met with another bet from State, this time for 75,000. That was enough to get a fold from Gorelik, as State added another pot to his stack.
