Just moments after Jim Collopy doubled up with J8 against the AK of Nikolai Mamut, all three remaining players got involved in the next hand. Mamut opened to 400,000 on the button and Collopy jammed all in for 3,400,000 in the small blind. Terrance Reid flat-called in the big blind and Mamut quickly folded.

The flop came K106 which gave both players straight draws. It was the Q on the turn that nearly locked it up for Reid with a straight and a backup flush draw. The river was the 6 and Collopy was unable to catch up, heading home in third place.
