Jason Zhuang and Ioannis Panagiopopoulos had entered lately while Divan van Wyk had vanished from the live stream table in the previous level.
Panagiopopoulos won one of the last hands when he fired two barrels on the 9♦9♠3♥6♣2♠ board and Rajeev Poonhath instantly folded to a final bet of 10,000. Their table will be moving to the live stream for the next two hour session after the 60-minute dinner break and the action will resume at approximately 7.40 p.m. local time.
There are currently 27 players out of 38 entries remaining.
On the river of a paired 8♦3♦3♣7♥10♥ board, Daniel van der Berg bet 5,000 and Nathan Pan called. The South African tabled the A♥K♠ and it was good to chip up.
Franco Da Matta opened to 2,500 and was called only by Panayiotis Giannakopoulos on the button as they headed to the K♦7♠5♦ flop. Da Matta bet 6,000 to get called and they checked the 6♣ turn to the 8♥ river. Another small bet by Da Matta was called and he flashed the 9♥7♥ for the straight to win a pot against his nemesis.
"I finally beat him," he exclaimed and jumped out of the chair to briefly celebrate, while Giannakopoulos mentioned he had flopped a king.
Rajeev Poonhath raised from under the gun and called a button three-bet to 7,500 by Banks Solomons. On a flop of Q♦6♥4♥ flop, Poonhath check-raised from 10,000 to 22,000 and Solomons called.
The A♦ followed on the turn and Poonhath checked, Solomons bet 46,000 and won the pot without any further resistance.
In the 1,009th episode of the PokerNews Podcast, which is sponsored by 888poker, Chad Holloway sits down with Albert Cheng, the Chief Growth Officer of Chess.com.
Poker may experience a boom among chess players as a popular chess website with millions of daily users launched a poker site and training program. Gambit, launched by Chess.com, is a free-to-use poker software where players can play against bots, friends, and other online users. They can also be walked through the basics of the game, take poker strategy lessons, and track their poker stats.
Gambit is specifically aimed at helping new players become introduced to the game without having to lose money or be pushed in-app purchases.
"Here's what it is: a poker site built for learning," Chess.com Chief Growth Officer Albert Cheng said in a May blog post. "No real-money gambling. No rake. Just the parts of the chess playbook that have made it work for millions of people, applied to poker."
Gambit, which is available on desktop as well as iOS and Android, will be immediately familiar to Chess.com users as the two share the same interface and graphics.

In four-way action to the 8♦7♦6♠ flop there was already some chatter as Franco Da Matta wanted to see a jack-jack-eight flop for his favorite hand to hit a full house. Instead, it came eight-high and Dan Zvonaru jokingly replied to Da Matta with a "straight flush in progress".
The action checked to Panayiotis Giannakopoulos from under the gun and he bet 8,500. Da Matta on the button and Rajeev Poonhath in the big blind called. On the 5♦ turn they all checked to the 4♦ river. Poonhath now bet 25,000 and Giannakopoulos called, Da Matta sigh-folded.
Poonhath smashed the 7♠ on the felt first followed by the ... 6♦ for the straight flush indeed!
On a four-way flop of 6♠5♠2♣, Imran Bhojani in the big blind check-raised to 21,000. Behind him, Harold Brooks called and Ak Ak then moved all-in.
Costa Giannakopoulos was in a brief tank and then said "I guess it is you or me" before he called all-in. Bhojani went all-in over the top with the largest stack and Brooks called all-in to create a four-way showdown.
"I got the nuts," Bhojani said when the cards were revealed.
Ak Ak: 8♣7♣
Costa Giannakopoulos: K♦3♦
Harold Brooks: 8♥7♥
Imran Bhojani: 4♣3♣
"If it comes flush, you are fucked," Ak Ak told Bhojani who asked "which flush" as there was only one club out there.
The 7♠ turn didn't change a whole lot nor did the J♠ river. None of the players had a spade in their hand and Bhojani scored a triple knockout.
He rated the hand eleven out of ten and pointed to his "lucky tea" as reason to success.
