Thus far 81 of the 92 entrants that entered today's flight are still in their seats. A handful of the 11 players have re-entered including today's first player eliminated, George McKeever.
Both Michael Casey and Kieren O'Riordon are local Irish players that qualified into the Main Event in an online satellite at partypoker.
O'Riordon, who was already short on chips, had his day was cut short after he shoved all in for about 5,000 chips with and got called by Casey holding on the flop. Casey's hand held and O'Riordon hit the showers after the turn and river were blanks.

Partypoker Ambassador Padraig Parkinson is off to the bar after being eliminated by David Fitzgerald. Players are allowed to re-enter once per opening flight, however, Parkinson stacked off earlier in the tournament and became the first player not allowed to enter back into the Day 1a field.
Fitzgerald checked the action on the board before Parkinson, who was short on chips, jammed all in. Fitzgerald quickly called and turned over for the nut flush while Parkinson had for a straight.
After the hand was over, the dealer miscounted Parkinson's stack thinking the 25-denominated chips were actually 1,000-denominated chips. She shared with Parkinson who was getting up from the table that he shouldn't leave yet since he still had chips. She quickly corrected herself.
Joking around, Parkinson asked the dealer while holding his beer, "Are you taking a piss?"
The duo joked around further before Parkinson departed from the tournament area. Parkinson will likely be back tomorrow in hopes of making it to Day 2 and also plans to play in the €120 Charity Event, a tournament he helped organize that will benefit the homeless.
