Partypoker Ambassador and Irish poker legend Padraig Parkinson late entered the tournament. He was down on chips and before we turned around he was out the door to re-enter at the registration desk.
Parkinson is back in a different seat and shared with us that he bluffed and got caught by one player calling and another isolating him.

Willow Connolly opened for 150 from under the gun.
“You don’t think that’s going to get through do you? Not on this table,” her neighbour said as he folded and he was proved right.
Peter Cahill was in middle position and he raised it up to 350. That got calls from another player and the blinds and Connolly put in the extra. “No respect,” came the cry as five players went to the flop.

Mahmood Rasheed became the second player to be eliminated on Day 1a. He jammed his remaining stack on the river with trip sixes and left his seat after being called by the full house held by Ireland's Alan Campbell.
Campbell qualified for the tournament at partypoker and was enjoying himself in the Player's Lounge before the tournament began when he shared with PokerNews that he has the bug for poker after winning a package to watch darts in Las Vegas compliments of partypoker over the summer.
