Paul Michaelis

Pedro Gonzalez Buitrago raised to 600 from the early position and Esteban Garcia three-bet to 1,700 from mid-position. Action folded to Paul Michaelis on the button who made the call and so did Buitrago.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} for both Buitrago and Garcia to check. Michaelis bet 2,100 and only Garcia made the call.

The turn brought them the {4-Hearts}, Garcia took over the initiative and bet 3,000. Michaelis flicked in some chips for the call.

The river completed the board with the {7-Clubs}, Garcia continued with a bet of 6,000. Michaelis looked at Garcia's stack and tried to determine how much he had behind. After staring at it while considering his options, Michaelis opted to fold.

All three players have won a Platinum Pass with Buitrago winning the SECOOP Challenge - 8 Stamps Freeroll, Garcia conquered his Pass in the Moneymaker PSPC Tour in Seminole Hard Rock, and Michealis won the EPT Prague Main Event less than three weeks ago.

Khoury's Cooler

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

In a three-bet pot with {10-Spades}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} on the felt, Mazin Khoury bet 4,500 into about 14,000 from the big blind and Michelle Chin made it 19,000 on the button. Khoury shoved all in for about 33,000 more effective and Chin went into the tank. She muttered something to herself after a couple of minutes and continued to think.

Finally, she dropped in her remaining chips and turned over {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a set. It was no good though as Khoury had {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} for top set. The river was the {4-Hearts} and Chin quickly collected her things and exited.
