Lewis Murray Enters
We met Australia's Lewis Murray yesterday who shared with us that he is traveling around Europe for two months and hoping to use poker to break even on his trip. Murray's journey to King's Casino was a bit unauthorized after walking a few kilometers from the German border to Czech Republic's King's Casino after getting a ride that far.
Murray shared with us that he is looking forward to the Main Event and is unsure if he will re-enter today or any other day if he busts. He does plan to take advantage of some of the schedule's many low buy-in side-events regardless of how today turns out.
Murray was seated right across from Timothy Weltner, yesterday's PokerNews Cup Opening Event winner, and immediately smiled when noticing this stating, "Right across from the winner." After wishing Weltner good luck today, Murray was laughing while sharing, "You've had enough luck."
While Weltner did win both yesterday's event was one of the eight satellite winners today, he did say today didn't go as smoothly as people might think. He shared with Murray and PokerNews that, "I lost with aces and kings, and still won."
