Just Quads

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Few things are sweeter in life than facing an all in shove while holding quads. Jose Jaraiz Lopez just found himself in that spot with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} on a {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. The river shove was for Lopez' remaining 16,650, and his opponent's attempt to win with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} proved futile.

Bojang Building

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

A few tournament tables have been set up in the cash game pit in order to accommodate all the players. One of the players who has been playing in the cash area throughout the day is German juggernaut Ismael Bojang, who's currently up to 55,000.

It was Bojang who opened the action with a raise to 800 in middle position. Rory Brennan called, Johan Guilbert three-bet to 3,100 from the cutoff, Bojang called, and Brennan called as well.

The {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop got checked around, and Bojang picked it up with a 5,500 bet on the {9-Diamonds} turn.

Story Checks Out; Aces For Zhadinsky

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Artsiom Zhadinsky raised to 1,200 from under the gun, Dan Wilson three-bet to 3,500 two seats to his left, Zhadinsky four-bet to 8,000, and Wilson called. Zhadinsky bet 6,800 on the {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop and Wilson called again.

On the {9-Hearts} turn, Zhadinsky wasted no time in shoving for 19,850, which was for the remainder of Wilson's stack. The Irishman appeared to have a big hand for the situation and spent minutes in the tank. Eventually, he laid it down and Zhadinsky showed him {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}.

Storm Doubles Through Reichard

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Big blind Nicolas Storm checked and called 1,000 from Josh Reichard, who was in the hijack, on a {4-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. Storm checked the {6-Hearts} turn and Reichard barreled bigger for 3,400, just a bit under a pot-sized wager. Storm shoved all in for 16,875. After getting the count, Reichard called following about a minute of thought.

Reichard: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Storm: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Storm had it locked up, and the meaningless river was a {5-Spades}.

Topic Finds a Double

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

We found Marco Topic all in for 19,025 from early position on a completed board of {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}. His opponent, who was in the small blind, tanked a couple of minutes and then dropped in calling chips.

Topic showed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} and the bullets were good.

Grafton Eliminated

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Sam Grafton has been short since the time we took note of him, and the last of his chips just got dispersed among two tablemates. Grafton moved in for 5,450 in middle position and got callers in the cutoff and on the button. The board rolled out {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, and Grafton's opponents showed down {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}, chopping up both the main pot and the side pot they'd created.
