Stuer Set Up; Leonard Cracks Aces

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Julian Stuer and Andreas Allsalu got their stacks in after a flop of {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Stuer found himself on the wrong end of a set-over-set scenario with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Allsalu had {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and held up thanks to the {5-Hearts} turn and {6-Clubs} river.

The hand was barely over when Stuer was in the next pot already and raised to 3,500. Patrick Leonard three-bet and Sachin Joshi four-bet to 23,800. Stuer quickly folded while Leonard called. On the {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, Leonard moved all in and Joshi quickly called for what appeared to be 48,000.

Sachin Joshi: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}
Patrick Leonard: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The {K-Hearts} turn was a blank, but Leonard got there thanks to the {8-Clubs} on the river.

De Silva Swings Upwards

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Upeshka De Silva has had a swingy day so far. After tumbling down the leaderboard earlier on, De Silva won a big pot to get himself back up to the 200k mark.

It was De Silva's right-hand neighbor who was tangling with the American. On an {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{K-Clubs} board, De Silva was facing a 14,800 bet and made the call. The river was the {5-Hearts} and De Silva's opponent bet around 35,000, which received a relatively quick call.

De Silva's opponent couldn't muster up more than {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and the American showed the winner with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

Luca and Peters Eliminated

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Julian Stuer's raise was met by the all in shove of Ivan Luca for 21,000 and Stuer quickly called when the action was back on him.

Ivan Luca: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Julian Stuer: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The board of {J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} left Luca empty-handed and he quickly exited the tournament area.

Soon after, David Peters also left from a nearby table. Alessandro Giordano raised to 3,500 and Peters shoved for 28,500 from the big blind, the Italian quickly called.

David Peters: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Alessandro Giordano: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

Giordano was ahead and improved to a straight on the board of {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades}{K-Spades} to eliminate Peters.
