An Entertaining Pot...if you Speak Romanian

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Andrei Nodea raised to 6,000 from under the gun. Silviu Baltateanu three-bet from the cutoff to 52,800 and was all in. It folded back to Nodea who called.

Nodea: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Baltateanu: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The flop came {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and both players laughed. The turn was the {3-Spades} and the river the {3-Hearts}.

50% of the PokerStars Festival Bucharest Main Event field was Romanian, and unfortunately we don't speak Romanian. But over the last few days, we have noticed that the Romanians are very expressive people, and this is what we think Nodea and Baltateanu said to one another after the conclusion of the hand

"What a flop!" Nodea said, gesturing to the two queens.

"It was all going in on the flop, even if I didn't go all in pre-flop," replied Baltateanu.

"Maybe it goes check-check," replied Nodea, "Then we both make a full house!"

"Why did you have to have Ace-Queen!" said Baltateanu.

Alexandru Stan moved all in from middle position for 36,600. In the next position Omer Azulay announced call from a stack of around 260,000. It folded to Daniel Nietrzebka on the button who three-bet to 75,000. The blinds folded and Azulay also folded.

Stan: {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Nietrzebka: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

There was a four in the window, but the flop came {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} giving Nietrzebka a strangehold on proceedings. The turn was the {10-Clubs} and the river the {9-Clubs}, eliminating Stan.

"If you shove here," Nietrzebka said to Azulay, "Then I'm really f***ed!"
