Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Everybody who knows Kully Sidhu is used to the friendly banter and jokes coming from the Brit and he was just having a laugh. "Look at that, he has the cards open," Sidhu said after the board showed {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Sidhu's opponent had {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and the Brit bet 2,250. "I know I should call this," the other player said but eventually elected to fold.

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

On the three-way turn of {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}, Barny Boatman bet 1,800 in the small blind and the player in under the gun called, the hijack folded. The {9-Clubs} appeared on the river and Boatman made it 6,000 to go.

"I think you missed," his opponent said and Boatman replied with a dry "then you should put me all in." The World Series of Poker bracelet winner instead received the call and rolled over {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for trips nines to win the pot.

Let's Play Some Turbo Poker

Inside the Hippodrome Casino
Inside the Hippodrome Casino

The PokerStars Festival London £990 Main Event has seen the Hippodrome Casino burst with players and many of them failed to bag up a stack in the previous three starting times. Thanks to the re-entry turbo heat Day 1d, everyone gets a second though and those that have not booked their seat for Day 2 yet can do so in 12 levels of 20 minutes each as of 10 p.m. local time.

Quite a few big names that dropped out today and yesterday are expected back at the tables such as Barny Boatman, PokerStars Team Pro Jake Cody, Daniel Wilson, Javier Zarco, £2,200 High Roller champion Joe Johnson are all among those that will likely fire a second bullet.

Even before the first cards were dealt, the tournament screens showed 100 entries to further boost the record. Check back regularly as the PokerNews live reporting team will be there for all the action as well.
