Gamble Gets Full Double

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Joining the action on the {K-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades} turn, Lucy Gamble checked from under the gun and her sole remaining opponent Edgar Drozdov bet 27,000 from late position. Gamble called and checked again the {8-Spades} river.

"How much do you have behind, like 150?" Drozdov asked and Gamble nodded. Drozdov then moved all in and Gamble eventually called. Drozdov turned over {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for kings and sevens, while Gamble had {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} had the better two pair. "Well played," Drozdov said and then paid off Gamble for 170,000 in total.

Geilich Runs Good

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The details of the exit of Julien Labarriere just emerged. He three-bet shoved his stack of 72,000 with the {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Ludovic Geilich as initial raiser looked him up with {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. The board came {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to see Geilich improve on the turn.

Geilich is among the bigger stacks now, as is Smit Trivedi one table over.

Flush For Boeree

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The board on the turn was {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and PokerStars Team Pro Liv Boeree checked and did Alexis Fleur before Francesco Corteseon on the button bet 55,000.

Boeree called as did Fleur.

The river card was the {10-Clubs} and all three players checked this time.

Boeree showed {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for the flush and the other folded.

Too Many Outs for Wiafe

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

On a heads up flop of {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}, Isaac Wiafe check-raised all in with {7-Spades}{2-Spades} for the straight and flush draw. Hak-Hyun Lee looked him up with the {J-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and the {2-Diamonds} turn and {10-Clubs} river both blanked to eliminate Wiafe.

Also on the rail: [Removed:16] and Julien Labarriere.

Ivanov Busts Pagano

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Luca Pagano
Luca Pagano

Luca Pagano had tripled up just before with only two big blinds and then shoved for his last 42,000. Mladen Ivanov called from two seats over in the cutoff and the rest of the table folded.

"I have a pocket pair," Pagano announced and Ivanov turned over his cards to see the Italian sigh.

Luca Pagano: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Mladen Ivanov: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Neither a four card flush or a miracle two outer happened, as the board came {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{K-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and Pagano was eliminated.

Cusco Bach Almost a Chip Millionaire

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

After a raise by Guilleim Cusco Bach, Jonathan Willis three-bet to 47,000 and the Spaniard moved all in via four-bet shove. Willis called for around 210,000 and had a flip for his tournament life.

Jonathan Willis: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Guillem Cusco Bach: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board fell {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and that was it for Willis. That pot sent the stack of Cusco Bach up to almost one million and he has been running riot all day.

Katsikidis and Lindsay Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Sally Stephens raised from late position and Pavlos Katsikidis moved all in from the cutoff for 62,000. The action folded back to Stephens and she called with {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Katsikidis had the {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and lost the flip on a board of {7-Spades}{10-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Kathryn Lindsay was also waiting nearby at the payout desk after having run out of chips as well.

One Table at the Bar Remains

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The remaining field is almost exclusively in the main tournament area and just one table remains next to the bar. That one features James Mitchell, Sander Sol and [Removed:16]. Sol was somewhat involved in the latest casualty as he was in the big blind, but folded after the action before him and said he had pocket sevens.

What had happened? Adam Harsanyi opened to 17,000 and Matous Houzvicek in the cutoff shoved for 150,000. Harsanyi reluctantly called and flipped over the superior of two small pocket pairs.

Matous Houzvicek: {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Adam Harsanyi: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The board came {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Harsanyi bumped his stack to almost half a million.
