Gamble Gets There

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

It wasn't a gamble, but rather the fact that Lucy Gamble - it is indeed her real name - was very short and pushed for her last 52,500. Sally Stephens looked her up from the button and the cards were tabled.

Lucy Gamble: {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Sally Stephens: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The board came {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Gamble turned the jack and rivered a flush to stay in.

Edgar Drozdov Suited; Connected

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Tristan Maclaren opened and got one call before Edgar Drozdov moved all in from the big blind. Maclaren called and after some thought the other player folded.

Drozdov: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Maclaren: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Hearts}.

Flush for Drozdov to leave Maclaren on fumes.

“It’s my favourite hand.” Drozdov offered by way of explanation.

Trivedi Triples in Setup Hand

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Smit Trivedi from under the gun, Lam Van Trinh in the small blind and Ian Williams in the big blind headed to a three-way flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and that was when things went absolutely (coco) nuts. All three players got their stacks in with Trivedi being the shortest stack at 144,000, while Van Trinh had Williams covered comfortably.

Smit Trivedi: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Ian Williams: {J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Lam Van Trinh: {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Trivedi asked for the deuce of clubs before the {5-Hearts} fell on the turn. The {8-Clubs} on the river improved Trivedi to the nut flush and he tripled up, while Williams doubled through Van Trinh for 196,000.
