Players have been sent on their first 15-minute break of the day. When they return, blinds will be 300/500 with a 500 big blind ante. Already 272 players have entered the fray today, almost matching the entire total from Day 1a. With seven more levels to play before late registration closes, there is a good chance that today's field will be the largest of the starting flights so far.
A player limped from early position as did a player in middle position and the small blind. Joseph Zayas in the big blind opted to raise to 3,300 and received a sole call from the early position player.

turn at which point Zayas led out for 6,000. That bet was enough to force his opponent out of the hand, sending a decent pot Zayas' way.

Sam Sangbouasy limped from middle position and was raised by the player in the cutoff. The button and blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Sangbouasy who made the call to see a flop.

who continued for 1,000. That was not enough to shed Sangbouasy who just called.
The
turn saw Sangbouasy check once more and again his opponent, rather than slowing down, fired off 2,000. The second barrel did not convince Sangbouasy to surrender as he flatted.
On the
river Sangbouasy seized the betting lead, pushing a meaty 15,000 into the middle. His opponent immediately folded.
The very next hand saw Sangbouasy in action once again. A player opened to 900 from under the gun and was called by Sangbouasy in middle position as well as the player immediately to his left and the big blind.
The big blind led out for 1,500 on the ![]()

flop which was enough to force the under the gun player out of the hand but not enough to elicit a fold from Sangbouasy. The player seated next to Sangbouasy did fold to send action heads up to the turn.
The
turn saw the big blind slow down, checking to Sangbouasy who bet 2,000. That bet was met by an all in for 17,100 from the big blind, sending Sangbouasy into the tank. After some consideration and asking the dealer for an exact count he did make the call with the covering stack to put his opponent at risk.

Sangbouasy was well ahead with his overpair and held on the

It is still early in the day but already the field has swelled beyond the 200 mark with 219 players currently playing on Day 1c. That number will continue to grow until the end of Level 11 though it remains to be seen whether the total number of entries for today will set a new high compared to the two previous flights.

A player in middle position opened to 600 and Stephani Czap responded by three-betting to 2,000 from the cutoff. Action folded to the small blind, who decided to move all in. The initial raiser got out of the way to send the action back to Czap who snapped it off to put their opponent at risk.

Mario Marsans opened to 800 from early position and received a single call from a player on the button.
