Gray Doubles With Queens, Masters Exits

On a flop of J♥9♥2♦, Thomas Gray led for 75,000 but then William Masters raised to 225,000.

When the action got back to Gray he went into the tank for a good while before he called the clock on himself.

Shortly after, he announced he was all in for 375,000 and Masters quickly called to put him at risk.

"Nice hand," Masters told Gray as the turn came the Q♣ to give him top set and lock on the hand, and to add insult to injury, the J♦ came on the river.

"Wow, good thing i hit the queen!" Gray said as he raked in the big pot.

Masters then got the remaining 50,000 of his chips into the middle with queen-jack against Xing He and Gray, but He flopped a pair with eight-nine and held to send Masters to the rail.

He led for 37,000 and was called only by Valore to continue to the turn A♥. He checked, Valore bet 25,000, and He called to go to the river 9♣.

He checked, Valore fired for 35,000, and He called once more.

"Royal, baby!" Valore shouted as he proudly turned over K♥J♥ for a royal flush while He shook his head and showed Q♠Q♣ for a flopped set of queens.

Day 2 of RGPS Cleveland Main Event Fires off at 12:15!

A total of 551 players came out to play the RunGood Poker Series $1,000 Main Event at JACK Casino in Cleveland, Ohio. The initial guarantee set on the prizepool was smashed as a total of $474,962 was collected for the prizepool. The final 67 players will each be guaranteed $1,500, while all eyes will remain on the $98,607 that will be awarded to first place.

Leading the way is still Shane Swank from 1b with 673,000 and close behind him is 1c chip leader Mark Douglas who bagged up 575,000. Rounding out the top three is WSOP bracelet winner Xing He, also from 1c who will return today with 565,000.
