Craig Welko got most of his chips in, 215,000, preflop against Nick Rigby, who had opened. Rigby bet the last 25,000 on the 6♠2♥2♦ flop, and Welko called.
Welko had Q♥Q♦ and was miles ahead of 10♥9♠. The K♣ turn locked it up early.
Jim Decker opened under the gun, Nick Rigby made it 200,000 on the button, and Decker jammed for about 600,000. Rigby quickly called and showed K♦K♠. Decker was pipped with Q♥Q♠.
The 10♥4♥8♦7♥ gave Decker a chance with a flush draw, but the 7♠ harmlessly paired the board on the river.
Alan Percal put in 250,000 second to act, leaving 5,000 back. Ricky Fryer called on his left, and everyone else folded.
After the 5♣9♣10♣, Percal checked to make sure nobody was all-in at the other table. He check-called off his remaining chip and showed A♠2♠ but needed a miracle against A♣A♦. He didn't get one as it ran J♦, 6♠.
On a flop of K♥8♦8♥, Ricky Fryer got his 400,000 in from the cutoff against big blind Michael Chilton. Fryer was in a dream situation with A♣8♣ against KxQx, and the 3♦ and J♠ kept him ahead.
Jon Howard doubled up Nick Rigby with A♣Q♦, running into Rigby's A♠A♥. Left with about 50,000, he busted the next hand.
JJ Kuchenmeister got his last 280,000 in from early position with 3x3x but ran into the AxAx of Carl Masters and didn't improve.
William Willman check-raised all-in from the big blind on J♠10♣5♣3♣. Nick Rigby called the 210,000 with 8♣3x, needing help against J♦10♥. The 9♦ river didn't do it.
Jon Howard shoved in middle position for 255,000. Chad Hunt called off for about 210,000 on the button. He had J♥J♠ and was leading against Howard's Q♠J♣.
The 7♥8♥Q♥ flop paired Howard, but he still needed to dodge a heart. He did so on the 2♠ and 6♦.
Ryan Stephens was all in from the hijack for 260,000, and action folded to big blind Brad Butcher. He peeled his cards one at a time then quickly called, showing K♦Q♣.
Stephens had A♠5♠ and the 7♦2♥4♠8♦7♠ runout was clean for him.
