Lukina Picks Up Aces For a Bustout

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player in the small blind moved all in for 32,000 and Katerina Lukina put him at risk in early position.

Katerina Lukina: A♥A♠

Lukina had her opponent dominated with her aces, and the 2♥3♥10♦7♣7♥ board kept her in the lead to earn her the knockout.

At another table, Kelley Slay related a hand he played against David Nathaniel. According to Slay, Nathaniel bet 14,000 on the turn with the board showing 5-4-2-3. Slay called with A♠4♠ for a straight and flush draw. Nathaniel then bet 35,000 on the river, and Slay called only for Nathaniel to show two sixes for a higher straight.
