A player in the small blind three-bet to 9,000 before Michael Shumsky four-bet to 25,000 under the gun. The small blind then moved all in, and Shumsky called for 56,200.

Shumsky had run his kings right into his opponent's aces and was headed to the rail as the board came 5♠8♦2♥10♥, but he caught the K♦ on the river to make a set and earn the miraculous double up.

"That's the way it goes," the small blind sighed as he handed over the pot.

A player on the button raised to 1,100 and John Wilson, who had just fired another bullet, three-bet to 3,000 in the small blind. The big blind called, as did the button.

Wilson continued for 7,500 on the 10♣9♣4♠ flop, and only the big blind called. Wilson bet another 16,000 on the 9♦ turn, and the big blind again called.

The river was the Q♥ and Wilson moved all in for 24,000. His opponent quickly folded, and Wilson showed him Q♣J♣ as he took the pot.

Matt Sherman bet 4,400 from the button on a board of 5♠A♦10♣6♣ and William King raised to 12,000 in the small blind. Sherman called, and the 9♥ fell on the river.

King then moved all in for 22,000, and Sherman snap-called. King showed 6♠6♥ for a set, but Sherman had top set with A♣A♠ to win the pot and send King to the rail.

William Beer bet 4,500 from the hijack on a flop of 9♥7♦3♦ and John Wilson called in the small blind. Jose Cayetano then moved all in, and Beer gave the decision some thought but eventually folded. Wilson, though, quickly called for 22,500.

Cayetano was ahead with top pair, while Wilson was on a straight draw. "I had the nine of diamonds. That can't be good," Beer said. The board ran out A♦3♣, and Cayetano improved to two pair to win the pot and send Wilson to the rail.
