Lerner was racing for her tournament life in the classic flip, and she spiked top pair on the A♥5♥6♠ flop to take the lead. The rest of the board ran out 10♣K♠, and Lerner finished with two pair to earn the double up.
Chris Safaya bet 8,000 from under the gun on a flop of A♠10♠Q♠ and Carl Masters raised to 20,000 in the big blind. Safaya then moved all in for 140,000, and Masters snap-called.

Safaya showed two pair, but Masters had flopped a flush to leave him at risk. The rest of the board ran out 3♣7♠, and Masters took down the massive pot to send Safaya to the rail.
Carl Masters raised to 11,000 under the gun and Patty Till called on the button. Daniel Termini then moved all in for 50,000 in the big blind, Masters reshoved, and Till got out of the way.

Carl Masters raised to 15,000 on the button before Chris Safaya moved all in for 87,000 in the small blind. Alan Percal called for his last 17,000 in the big blind.
"I didn't open the button wide," Masters said as he considered the decision.
"That's not good," Safaya replied. Masters eventually turned over K♣10♣ and tossed it into the muck, leaving Safaya and Percal heads-up.
