Termini Gets a Shove Through Welman

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

With around 25,000 in the pot on a board of 610K9, Jessica Welman bet 12,500 from the button and Daniel Termini called under the gun.

The river was the J and Termini moved all in, having Welman's remaining 35,000 narrowly covered. She took a minute before giving up her hand, and Termini took the pot.

Lerner Wins With Her Favorite Hand

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Delilah Lerner raised to 3,000 on the button and fellow RunGood ambassador Carl Masters called in the big blind.

The flop came 756 and Lerner bet 5,000. Masters called, and the J fell on the turn.

Lerner then bet 8,000, and Masters again called. Both players checked the 8 river, and Lerner showed 43 for a flopped straight. "This is my favorite hand," she said as masters mucked to surrender the pot to her.

Ken Baime Basking in the Glory of an Unforgettable Experience This Summer

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Kenneth Baime heads into the second break of Day 1a with nearly 100,000, but even a deep run here wouldn't compare to what he accomplished earlier this summer.

Baime outlasted a field of more than 11,000 players to make it to heads-up of the WSOP Gladiators of Poker Event. Although he ended up finishing second to Johnny Oshana, Baime still took home $166,000 and the experience of a lifetime.

"It was fantastic, obviously. I almost didn't even play it, but it was just a weird set of circumstances with bagging something at the Venetian. I had the day free, so I played it and they didn't overlap days, so that was good," he said.

Baime's poker resume also includes a deep run to 46th place in the 2022 WSOP Main Event, a result he calls an even bigger highlight than his Gladiators of Poker finish, as well as two MSPT Main Event titles and more than $2 million in live earnings.

Today on Day 1a, he picked up jacks to bust an opponent early and then won another big pot right before the second break, showing down aces and deuces against Dylan Stanfield's tens and deuces. "I busted the $300 [One-Day] earlier, but other than that, this one's going all right. A lot of back and forth for me on this one," he said.

"I love it here. I know [tournament director] Murph pretty well. I know a few of the people out here a little bit, but yeah, RunGood events are always great."

Lerner Spikes the Nuts to Bust Fenwick

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Delilah Lerner bet 6,000 from the cutoff on a flop of J5Q, John Fenwick moved all in for 20,000 in the big blind, and Lerner called.

John Fenwick: 109 All in
Delilah Lerner: A2

Both players were on draws, but it was Lerner who spiked the nut flush on the 9 turn to leave Fenwick drawing dead. The river was the 10, and Fenwick was sent to the rail.

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Dylan Stanfield led out for 3,000 from the big blind on a flop of 1027 and Kenneth Baime called in the cutoff.

Stanfield checked the A turn, Baime bet 7,000, and Stanfield called. Both players checked the 4 river, and Stanfield showed 102 for two pair. Baime, though, had A2 for aces and deuces to win the pot.

Saechao Coolers Till For a Double

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Patty Till bet 4,500 from the hijack on a flop of J109 before Kao Flexx Saechao, who had just taken his seat in the tournament, raised to 10,000 in middle position. Till then moved all in. "Last chance to rebuy," Saechao said as he called for 27,600.

Kao Flexx Saechao: KQ All in
Patty Till: 109

Till had flopped top pair, but Saechao had spiked a straight. The rest of the board ran out 68, and Saechao doubled up.

Fenwick Survives on the River

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 910J, Delilah Lerner bet 5,000 from the cutoff before John Fenwick moved all in for 14,500 in the big blind. Lerner quickly called.

John Fenwick: 102 All in
Delilah Lerner: KJ

Both players had flopped a pair, while Lerner had top pair to leave Fenwick at risk. The turn was the 6, but Fenwick spiked the 2 on the river to make two pair and earn the double up.
