Morrow Makes Correct Call on River

This hand was picked up on a complete board of 4♥Q♠3♦A♠5♥ with approximately 7,000 in the middle. Matheus Camila Lima checked his option from early position before Joshua Morrow bet 3,200 from the hijack.

Lima decided to push a stack of orange chips forward to put Morrow to the test for all his chips. Morrow was in the tank before he threw a chip in to signal a call.

Lima showed K♦Q♦ for a pair of queens, but it was no good as Morrow tabled A♣J♦ for a pair of jacks.

Oto Bets and Bets Again

Tracy Oto opened to 1,400 from under the gun. This led to a slew of callers, including Hamid Izadi from middle position, Barry Birdwell from the hijack, Sung Choi on the button, Hoang To from the small blind, and Shane Miller from the big blind, to create a seven-handed pot.

Both blinds checked the J♥4♣6♥ flop before Oto continued for 6,500. Everyone folded except Choi, who made the call.

Oto kept on betting on the A♠ turn to the tune of 6,200. Choi remained in the hand with another call.

The 8♠ river was not going to slow down Oto, as he fired a third barrel for 15,300. Choi quickly folded before the chips even landed in the middle to award the pot to Oto.
