Michael Hults opened to 6,000 from early position, which led to a call from Stephane Jardonnet out of the cutoff. Aaron Overton came in from the small blind to create a three-handed pot.

The K♥3♦3♥ flop led to a check from Overton. Hults continued for 7,000. Jardonnet bowed out of the picture with a fold, but Overton made the call.

Overton checked again on the 2♠ turn. Hults bet a second time for 13,000. Overton responded with a check-raise to 37,500 and was called by Hults as they went to a showdown with Overton at risk.

Overton had the best of it as his queen kicker was critical to his tournament survival.

The 10♦ river sealed the deal in favor of Overton as he doubled up against Hults.

Hults was left with crumbs after dropping the pot to Overton. Hults was seen leaving the
tournament area shortly after as he busted from the tournament.

Berenji hit the flop hard when it came J♦6♦J♣ to give him trip jacks and a massive lead with two cards to go.

The 5♣ introduced some hope for Ostrowski, but that hope crashed and burned on the 9♥ river as Berenji took in the chips to eliminate Jorgenser and Ostrowski.

The pot had swelled to over 50,000 when this hand was picked up on the turn of a board that read 10♦A♠6♦8♦.

Julian Hayes checked his option from the early position before Franklin Chavez checked also from early position.

Aram Alexander declined to check as he instead put out a large bet of 45,000 on the button.

That was enough as both Hayes and Chavez yielded the pot with a fold to award Alexander the pot.

Alexander showed Q♦9♦ for a flush as he raked in the chips.

Welko will receive a custom traveling Player of the Year banner to be showcased at RunGood tour stops throughout the upcoming season, while the top five finalists will also be inducted into the prestigious RunGood Hall of Rings.

This means that 43 players will be permitted to bag and advance. Places 44th-55th will make the money and will receive a payout of $2,200 for their efforts.

Thus far, the prize pool has grown to a total of $1,072,050.
