The first eight levels of the day have been completed, and players are on a 15-minute break.
Late registration for Day 1d will close when action resumes on Level 9.
Mehdi Dadvar was all in from the hijack, facing off against Agustin Jaramillo in middle position.
Mehdi Dadvar: A♣K♣
Agustin Jaramillo: Q♣Q♦
Jaramillo's pocket queens won the flip after the J♠10♥8♦3♦7♥ runout, sending Dadvar to the rail during the last level of late registration.
Christopher Parkes limped in early position, and Bracher Vaughan also called in the cutoff. Richard Smart came along in the small blind before Steven Wampler raised to 3,000 in the big blind.
All three opponents called, and Smart checked the 3♣A♣4♥ flop. Wampler continued with another bet of 3,000, and Parkes folded. Vaughan and Smart called, and the dealer flipped over the 8♠ turn.
Wampler tossed out a 5,000 chip, and Vaughan promptly raised to 15,000. Smart folded, and Wampler moved all in for 54,300.
Vaughan went into the tank, taking some time before letting his hand go and Wampler collected the pot.

Another check from Seidel led to a bet of 12,000 from Simmons, earning the pot as Seidel instantly folded.
Kyle Bartee raised to 3,000 in early position, and Yao Clinton three-bet to 10,000 in the cutoff. Randall Campbell made the call in the small blind, and Bartee also tossed in the call.
Campbell led out with a bet of 15,000 on the A♠4♠J♥ flop, and Bartee moved all in for 23,900. Clinton got out of the way, and Campbell made the call.
Kyle Bartee: A♥J♣
Randall Campbell: A♦K♣
Bartee turned over his two pair, and held through the Q♠ turn before improving to a full house on the J♠ river to double up.
Keller Houston was all in from the hijack, at risk against Kiran Suresh on his immediate left.
Keller Houston: 10♣9♣
Kiran Suresh: K♣K♠
Suresh revealed his pocket kings, but Houston picked up a straight draw on the A♦8♠7♥ flop. The A♥ turn and 3♥ river were no help to Houston, who went straight to the reentry desk for a fresh starting stack.
