Bruschi Defeats Schemion Heads-Up for Third SCOOP Title

There was a SCOOP League shootout heads-up for the SCOOP 17-H $1,050 PLO [6-Max] title, with Renan "Internett93o" Bruschi up against Ole "wizowizo" Schemion.

Bruschi was representing Team Kelvin_FP:AR, while Schemion was looking to win his tenth SCOOP title and add more points for Team easywithaces.

In the end it was Bruschi who came out on top, defeating a 119-player field to win $26,752. This is Bruschi's third SCOOP title to go with his seven WCOOP titles.

Mattsson Into Double Digits with Tenth SCOOP Title

Before last night, only three players had won double-digit SCOOP titles: Andre "Premove" Skvortsov, Calvin "cal42688" Anderson and Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser.

Now make it four, as Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson triumphed in SCOOP 16-H $5,200 Super Tuesday High Roller, taking home $107,964. He defeated a 77-player field that included plenty of online crushers to win his tenth SCOOP title,

This is also the third time Mattsson has won a Super Tuesday High Roller as part of the SCOOP schedule, with victories in 2022 and 2024.

Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson SCOOP Titles

Mattsson won his first SCOOP title in 2012 when he defeated a 373-player field to win $38,233 in SCOOP 34-M: $530 Limit Hold'em 6-Max.

Since then, he's won all of his SCOOP titles in No-Limit Hold'em, apart from a NLO8 title in 2021.

Get Involved with the SCOOP League Challenge

PokerStars players at home can also get involved in the SCOOP League action and be in with a chance of winning a $10,300 Gold Power Pass!

To take part, players must opt-in via the Challenges window and select one of the team captains to support. From there, it's all about knockouts. Players will earn points by eliminating opponents in SCOOP tournaments, with each elimination adding more weight to their team's overall score.

The top 20 players from each team will advance to the SCOOP Battle Royale on June 1, where they'll compete for over $14,000 in Power Pass prizes and the glory of contributing points to their captain’s tally.

The Battle Royale prizes are as follows:

  • 1st Place: $10,300 Gold Power Pass
  • 2nd Place: $2,500 Silver Power Pass
  • 3rd–16th Place: $109 Bronze Power Passes

The race for SCOOP League supremacy is heating up and after a huge Tuesday run, Team Spraggy has rocketed into first place with a massive 690-point haul, bringing their total to 1,120 points.

It was a true team effort across the board, with standout results pushing them past early frontrunners Team easywithaces and into the top spot.

Thanks to a standout performance on Day 3 of SCOOP, “King153246” became the highest-scoring drafted pick of the SCOOP League so far, racking up 550 points, the most among all 30 players across the five teams. His solo effort contributed nearly half of Team Spraggy’s total, propelling them to the top of the leaderboard, even with Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic yet to play a single event!
