Crawford Dispatches Williams

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Donald Williams
Donald Williams

Donald Williams got his short stack all in preflop and found himself racing for his tournament life against William Crawford.

Williams: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Crawford: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Williams got it in good and held on the {k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop. Unfortunately for him, the dealer burned and turned the {a-Hearts} to pair Crawford.

Williams was looking for the two outer on the river, but it wasn't in the cards as the {10-Spades} bricked.

Atherley Sends a Short Stack to the Rail

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Jason Atherley
Jason Atherley

After a player opened for 1,000 from early position, Jason Atherley three-bet to 3,300 from the cutoff. The player in the big blind then moved all in for just over 6,000 and the original raiser folded. Atherley made a quick call and the hands were turned up.

Atherley: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Atherley was well out in front and he successfully dodged an ace as the board ran out a safe {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

A Bad Beat Flop in Monster Hand

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Russell Williams
Russell Williams

The preflop action escaped us but we do know it blew up between three players. It resulted in both Carlos Revilla and Russell Williams being all in, the latter for 27,600, and the third player folding after investing roughly 8,000.

Williams: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Revilla: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Revilla had the goods and Williams was looking to get lucky. He did exactly that as the flop came down {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} to give him quads!

However, he wasn't out of the woods as Revilla flopped aces full, meaning the case ace would give him better quads. The {6-Spades} turn wasn't what he was looking for and neither was the {j-Clubs} river.

Williams shipped the double while the rest of the table and nearby onlookers expressed their disbelief of the cooler flop.
