KSLX Crew Mixing at Different Kind of Table

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Dave Farra
Dave Farra

Local Classic Rock FM radio station DJs Dave Farra and Jason Mahoney of 100.7 KSLX were spotted in the tournament this morning, and they actually were seated at the exact same table.

Mahoney took an unfortunate early exit after getting all his chips into the middle with a flopped top pair against a flush draw, but he was not able to hold.

On the other hand, Farra is still in the mix, sitting just over starting stack as the first break draws near.

You Called Me with a Jack High? (IYKYK)

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Krystle O'Reilly
Krystle O'Reilly

Krystle O'Reilly limped in early position and another player limped in middle position. On the button, Heath Yuzuik raised to 1,500, and only O'Reilly called.

The 942 flop checked through to the 8 turn which saw O'Reilly lead for 2,500. Yuzuik quickly tossed AK face up into the muck, lamenting his bad luck with big slick.

In return, O'Reilly tabled J3 for the flopped flush, showing her opponent that he made a good fold.

"You called me preflop with a jack high?" Yuzuik joked as he conceded the pot to O'Reilly.

Circu Eliminates Gwin Set-Over-Set

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Daniel Circu
Daniel Circu

Daniel Circu from under the gun and Skye Gwin from middle position saw a flop of 985 with a little over 3,500 in the middle preflop.

Circu had check-raised a bet from Gwin, who responded by moving all in for his 30,500 stack, and Circu snapped it off as the covering player.

Skye Gwin: 88 All in
Daniel Circu: 99

It was a brutal cooler set-over-over with Circu the beneficiary. Gwin could not find the one-outer or running chop on the 46 runout, leaving Circu's top set best for a brutal elimination in the early proceedings.

Brandon Mitchell
Brandon Mitchell

Last summer, Brandon Mitchell beat a record-setting field to win life-changing money in the 2025 Arizona State Poker Championship.

The $1,100 buy-in tournament at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale attracted 3,546 entries. A former police officer took it down for $525,700 by effectively protecting and defending his chip stack. Mitchell, competing in his home state, overcame a deep deficit to secure a career-best score. He was one of six players who booked a six-figure win in Arizona's biggest poker tournament of the year.
