Over on the outer tables, Simon Solomon flat-called a shove by a shorter stack for around 55,000 with Q♥Q♠ and was up against K♥10♥.

Marko Nortje raised to 7,000 and Jon Persent defended the big blind to a flop of 7♦5♥2♣ with some 75,000 behind, with the stack sizes displayed wrong for the Norwegian on the stream table. Persent check-raised to 21,000 and then called all-in.

The 7♠ turn gave both players trips and the 6♠ river was a sucker punch for Persent, as Nortje spiked the three-outer for a full house.
Adrian Andritz was calling for his one time when he got it in preflop with 10♥10♣ against the K♠K♦ of Karol. The latter was the player at risk for 39,000 and held despite a small sweat on the 6♣3♠2♥4♠6♥ runout.
Marko Nortje raised from under the gun with the Q♠5♠ and Eben Lottering called in the big blind with the A♦5♣. Both trapped by checking the K♦5♦5♥ flop before Lottering bet the 10♠ turn for 7,000. Nortje raised to 22,000 and then called Lottering's shove for 151,000.
Lottering had the best of it but the 10♣ river denied him a big double.
Defending champion Muaaz Gani and runner-up Sugen Singh have been eliminated from Day 1c already, the latter of who opted to buy into Day 1d. The last flight currently features 28 entries of which 27 players remain and several of the local notables have jumped in alongside The Hendon Mob team members Roland Boothby and Anthony Charter.
