Outpipped and Coolered, Park Finds a Flop

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
JOON PARK
JOON PARK

Joon Park raised to 40,000 from late position. Andrew Robinson pushed back from the small blind with a raise to 110,000. Undeterred, Park announced "all in," which was promptly called by Robinson.

Cards on their back, Park showed {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}, but Robinson had him covered and dominated with {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades} to give Park a full house. He breathed a sigh of relief and raked the pot while Robinson was left shaking his head in disbelief.

Perfect Turn Card Boosts Tang's Stack

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Action picked up on the turn when Ian Tang bet 40,000 from the small blind into a pot of about 60,000. The board read {9-Clubs}{a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Kenneth Neyerlin called in position.

The river brought the inconsequential {2-Hearts} and Tang overbet the river for 225,000. Neyerlin called quickly and saw the bad news when Tang flipped over {3-Spades}{6-Spades} for turned trips. Neyerlin mucked and Tang collected the healthy pot.

Allen Finds a Fortuitous River

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
DANIEL ALLEN
DANIEL ALLEN

Daniel Allen opened to 30,000 from under the gun and William Lahti defended his big blind to see the {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} flop. Lahti tapped the table and Allen bet out around 40,000.

Lahti instantly check-raised and Allen moved all of his chips into the middle, totaling 676,000. Lahti called without hesitation for slightly less, having around 641,000 and the cards went on their backs.

William Lahti: {k-Spades}{3-Spades}
Daniel Allen: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Lahti was leading the way with his flopped flush but Allen had two chances to land one of his outs. The dealer burned and turned, revealing the {3-Diamonds}.

Allen had one last chance for romance and lady luck made an appearance, dropping the {7-Clubs} to complete the board. Allen let out a few fist pumps and then started to stack his newly acquired chips.

Weis' Set Earns Him A Double

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action picked up on the flop with three players in the hand when Felix Weis bet 30,000 into a pot of about 50,000. The board read {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades}. Matthew Meyer called from the big blind. Gordon Granger then went for the check-raise all in. Weis was covered and committed the rest of his stack. Meyer folded.

Granger showed the {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for flopped bottom two pair but was drawing nearly dead when Weis showed his {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for middle set.

Weis' set held and left him raking a healthy pot.

Queen Hits Both But Dang Hits a Little Harder

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The flop was {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and there was around 250,000 in the pot when Chad Fullmer moved his 217,000 stack into the middle. Hieu Dang called and Fullmer turned over {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} for a pair of queens.

Dang then revealed the bad news, tabling {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} for a hand good enough to have Fullmer ready to leave. The {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} runout changed nothing as Dang took down the pot, eliminating Fullmer to collect a bounty.

McDowell Looks to Fade

Level 17 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Felix Weis moved all in, totaling 116,000 and he found one caller in Matthew McDowell. The two turned over their hands and McDowell had the lead.

Felix Weis: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Matthew McDowell: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The dealer fanned out {k-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and McDowell was looking good to collect a bounty. A {7-Diamonds} turn landed and Weis started to stand. An unlikely {a-Clubs} flipped over on the river, sitting Weis right back down as he collected a double on the rivered pair of aces.

ROBERT HUNT
ROBERT HUNT

Robert Hunt pushed the small blind for around 140,000 and Daniel Allen called in the big blind.

Robert Hunt: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Daniel Allen: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

The flop fell {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and was very sweaty for Allen. A {q-Spades} left Hunt with one last shot and he nailed it, having the {a-Clubs} roll out to complete the board. Hunt landed the ace for a double on the river, taking a small piece of Allen's stack.
