The very first elimination of the $200k Triton Invitational is none other than Phil Ivey, and with none other than aces cracked.
Gytis Lazauninkas raised to 2,500 from his stack of 295,000. Ivey, on the button with 212,000, three-bet to 10,000 and Lazauninkas called.
The flop was 4♣9♦2♥ to which Lazauninkas checked. Ivey bet 15,000 and again Lazauninkas just made the call. On the 3♦ turn, Lazauninkas was passive again, checking to Ivey, who bet 45,000. Lazauninkas then asked for it all, making a huge raise to 250,000 that would put Ivey all-in for his life in the $200,000 tournament. Ivey made the call.
Phil Ivey: A♣A♥
Gytis Lazauninkas: 9♥9♣
Ivey's aces were decimated by Lazauninkas's full house, having been behind from the flop onwards.
At a final table full of big hitters, it was the new guy who shone through.
Alex Anton defeated a field of 70 entrants in Triton Jeju Event #9: $30,000 NLHE Turbo in quickfire fashion, taking home $577,000 after defeating Artur Martirosian heads-up.
This is Anton's fourth-ever Triton cash, and comes hot on the heels of a cash in Event #5 and a third-place finish in Event #7 just this week. Now, he adds the second-largest cash of his career and a maiden Triton title to the WSOP bracelet he won just three months ago.
Meanwhile, Martirosian's dreams of a fifth Triton title were dashed, but his $411,000 payday was enough for him to move above $16 million in Triton earnings.
The Invitational is the biggest yet, with a record 60 pairings confirmed for the event. It's also a landmark occasion for Triton, with the Invitational being held in Asia for the first time.
The draw took place yesterday, so we now know who will be teaming up as the 60 pairs battle it out for one of the most unique and prestigious titles on the Triton calendar - you can find all that info out over on our live reporting page.

Yesterday saw Pedro Padilha claim his maiden Triton title in the $50,000 NLH 8-Handed, banking $1,548,000 after defeating Nick Petrangelo heads-up. Meanwhile, there was Turbo glory for Alex Anton, too. Now the focus turns to the biggest event of the festival so far.

Pedro Padilha became the latest member of the next generation of Triton crushers to break through at this Super High Roller Series Jeju II, taking down the $50,000 NLH 8-Handed for a staggering $1,400,860.
At a stacked final table that included the likes of Phil Ivey, Wai Kiat Lee and Eelis Parssinen, the Brazilian online phenom proved he's just as adept in the live streets, getting the better of Nick Petrangelo heads-up to claim his maiden Triton crown and the fourth for his nation on the premier high-stakes tour.
Chen Mingcong's run at the $30,000 Turbo title is over, after he was eliminated in ninth place at the hands of Winfred Yu. The two short stacks got it in preflop with Mincong's Q♥J♦ dominated by the A♥Q♠ of Yu, sending Mincong home in ninth place for $60,000.
That confirmed the final table, with each of the eight remaining players guaranteed $79,000 and $577,000 awaiting the winner.
