Two Small Pots

Level 12 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Hans Sybrandi raised from under the gun and was called by Johan Verhagen in the small blind, who check-called a bet of 9,000 on the flop {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Another six on the turn was checked through and Verhagen paid off the valuebet on the {3-Clubs} river to muck to the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of Sybrandi.

The Dutchman then defended his big blind against a raise by Pieter de Korver. On the {6-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop, Sybrandi check-called 9,000 and they checked the {7-Hearts} turn before de Korver took down the pot uncontested with a bet of 10,000 after the {3-Spades} river.

Yet another Dutchman, Rutger Coomans, has ran out of chips and was sent to the rail.

Janssen Shows Frustration

Level 12 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

David Janssen's day at the poker tables has not been going well so far and the latest example was a hand against Gordon Plomp. The Belgian had defended his big blind and then fired 13,000 on the {4-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{5-Spades}{K-Clubs} river. Janssen called and was shown {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a flopped straight by Plomp.

Value for Niski

Level 12 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Pieter de Korver raised to 7,000 from early position and Mariusz Niski called in the big blind. Both players checked the flop {5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Niski then bet the {10-Diamonds} turn for 9,000. De Korver called and did so again for 18,000 on the {10-Spades} river only to muck to the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of the Pole.

Refos Doubles Through Beeckx

Level 12 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Jessy Marillaud, Stefanie Claes and Raoul Refos all increased their stacks while Zsolt Zanati and Kristoffer Arwin have been sent to the rail.

Refos open-shoved the button for 22,600 with {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Alexander Beeckx called from one seat over with {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The Dutchman proceeded to hit a runner runner full house on the board {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{J-Spades} and has some more air to breathe.

Koop Losing Some

Level 12 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Niko Koop had defended his big blind against a raise by Vincentius van Oosterhout and made a move on an eight-high board. But his bluff was at the wrong time, the Dutchman had turned a full house and scooped a nice pot. Koop recovered some of the losses shortly after when flopping top pair with {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}, but the pot itself was not as big.

No More Finns

Level 12 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Harri Hanninen had the shortest stack of the three Finns that returned to the tables today, but he lasted the longest before just bowing out. And then, Asif Warris was spotted on the rail and he mentioned something about a bad beat with losing aces to kings after a king fell on the river.

Frank Mees is also among the casualties.

Peters Busts to Jerneskog

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Tobias Peters
Tobias Peters

Tobias Peters got the remainder of his stack in with {A-Spades}{9-Clubs} from the cutoff via four-bet shove and Jorgen Jerneskog looked him up from one seat over with the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

The flop {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} was devastating to say the least, as only two perfect cards could save Peters anymore. It was all over after the {2-Hearts} turn and the {3-Diamonds} was just a formality.

Emanuelson Wins Big Flip

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Bert Geens was the initial raiser from under the gun and a raising war broke out with Micael Emanuelson ending up all in for his last 112,600. Geens looked him up and it was a big flip:

Geens: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Emanuelson: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The flop {10-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades} left Geens with four outs only or running diamonds in order to avoid a massive setback. However, the {K-Spades} turn and {A-Spades} river both failed to improve the Belgian and he fell down to just over 20 big blinds.
