Tadini Bets Dark for Three Streets, Immediately Regrets it

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

"Adri" raised to 17,000 from the hijack and received calls from Linda Hamdi in the cutoff and Anas Tadini in the big blind.

Tadini bet 3,000 in the dark before the dealer fanned a flop of Q87. "Adri" raised to 15,000 and both Hamdi and Tadini made the call.

Tadini bet 3,000 in the dark again before the turn came the Q. "Adri" called before Hamdi raised to 15,000. Tadini made the call while "Adri" got out of the way.

For the third time in a row Tadini bet 3,000 in the dark before the river came the J. Hamdi raised to 50,000 and after verifying how much the bet was, Tadini quickly called.

Hamdi showed down 88 for a full house and Tadini's hand hit the muck.

Aurelie Reard

Aurelie Reard was recently eliminated from the tournament.

As recounted by a player at her former table, Reard moved all in with a short-stack holding jack-nine suited and was called by Amer Benmoumen, who had ace-king. Reard failed to improve and was sent to the rail late in Day 1.

With the board reading JQQ108 and a sizable pot already in the middle, Alejandro "Tanketa" Gavinet checked from the big blind, Ugo Taurines bet 21,500 from under the gun and Gavinet moved all in, putting Taurines deep into the tank.

After roughly four minutes the clock was called. Not long afterwards, Taurines called off with his tournament life at risk and a pot worth well over 150 big blinds on the line.
