Hamou Catches a Bluff

Samy Hamou limped in from under the gun and was followed by limps from Guillaume Darcourt in early position, Damien Luis in the hijack and Ferreol Motte in the small blind before Christophe Colantoni checked in the big blind.

All five players checked the flop and turn leading to a final board of 2♣K♣K♦9♦5♦. Action then checked around to Luis who bet 3,000. All players folded except for Hamou who made the call.

Luis showed Q♥10♥ for a bluff while Hamou tabled 8♦8♥ for two pair, kings and eights to take the pot.

Rachid Boughrara opened to 800 from under the gun and Ugo Palmero three-bet to 2,600 from the button. Hicham Amrani called from the big blind and Boughrara folded.

The flop came 7♦7♠8♠ and Amrani lead out for 6,000. Palmero made the call.

Amrani bet again for 12,000 on the 6♣ turn. This time Palmero raised all in, covering Amrani's remaining stack of about 30,000. Amrani made the fold and Palmero took down a decent pot without showdown.

Fouad Zouiten opened to 1,200 from under the gun and received calls from "Grosnouel" on the button, Arthur Brilliet in the small blind and Marc Navarro in the big blind.

Action checked around back to Zouiten, who bet 1,500 on the J♥3♥4♣ flop. Brilliet and Navarro got out of the way while "Grosnouel" made the call.

Zouiten fired a second barrel on the K♣ turn, this time for 4,300. Once again "Grosnouel" made the call.

On the 2♣ river Zouiten bet 6,000 and "Grosnouel" called.

Zouiten revealed 7♦7♣ for a pair of sevens while "Grosnouel" tabled Q♣J♠ for a pair of jacks to take the pot.

Both remaining players checked the 7♠ turn leading to the 5♠ river. Amrani bet 2,800 and Tsikhanskaya made the call.

Amrani tabled Q♦J♦ for top pair and Tsikhanskaya quickly mucked.

Siess check-called another bet from Khlifi on the 2♦ turn, this time for 6,000.
