Phung Doubles with Fishhooks

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Thierry Dinael opened to 3,000 from under the gun and Ilan Chicheportiche three-bet to 8,000 from middle position. Viet Phung made the call from the button and Dinael also called.

The flop came A2J. Dinael checked, Chicheportiche bet 19,000, Phung called and Dinael got out of the way.

On the 6 turn Chicheportiche checked, Phung moved all in for 75,000 and Chicheportiche made the call with a covering stack.

Viet Phung: JJ
Ilan Chicheportiche: AK

Chicheportiche had made top pair but was drawing dead on the turn against Phung's set of jacks. The A river gave Phung a full house over his opponent's trip aces and he collected a full double up at the expense of Chicheportiche.
