On a board of 8♠2♠K♠, Sergio Da Silva Veloso checked and Santhosh Suvarna bet 310,000. Veloso check-jammed and Suvarna called with a bigger stack.
Sergio Da Silva Veloso: A♠K♦
Santhosh Suvarna: A♣A♥
It was a dream flop for Veloso but he had run into aces and couldn't hit a spade or king as the board bricked out to mark his elimination on the soft bubble.
Chanracy Khun slid out a bet of 250,000 from the hijack on the J♠8♦Q♦10♦ turn, and Ramiro Petrone took some time before making the call on the button.
Khun led out again on the 4♣ river, this time for 800,000. Petrone watched the 30-second clock start to tick down before making the call. Khun turned over A♥K♠ for Broadway, adding more chips to his stack as Petrone mucked.
Action was picked up on the river with the board showing K♦9♥Q♦4♣8♥ and roughly 4,000,000 already in the pot.
Just six players away from making the money, Erik Eisen was facing a bet for his stack of 2,955,000 from the chip leader Antonio Galiana.
After using several time extensions, Eisen flicked in chips to make the call. Galiana turned over K♥10♠ for top pair, but Eisen had the winner to double up when he tabled K♠Q♣ for top two pair.
Antonio Galiana opened to 180,000 on the button, and Erik Eisen defended his big blind to see the 7♠4♠K♣ flop.
Eisen checked and made the call when Galiana continued for another 180,000. Both players checked through the 8♣ turn, and Eisen led out for 400,000 on the 10♥ river.
Galiana took the entire 30-second clock before raising to 1,300,000, and Eisen took some time of his own before making the call.
Galiana tabled 10♣8♥ for two pair, adding more chips to his stack when Eisen mucked.
David Benyamine opened to 175,000 on the button and Daniel Zack three-bet jammed a stack of around 500,000 in the big blind. Benyamine called.
Daniel Zack: A♣K♣
David Benyamine: 7♣5♣
Zack had Benyamine's clubs covered, but it mattered little as the board ran out 4♠10♠8♥9♠5♥ to mark his elimination as the towering Frenchman made a pair of fives.
Joshua Stewart opened to 250,000 in middle position, leaving just 10,000 behind. Dylan Smith made the call in the hijack, and the 4♦10♠9♥ flop was fanned out.
Stewart checked to Smith, who tossed in 10,000. The call was made, leaving Stewart at risk.
Joshua Stewart: Q♠8♠
Dylan Smith: A♠9♠
Smith's pair of nines were ahead, improving to two pair on the A♦ turn. The 10♣ river completed the board, as Stewart was sent to the rail.
Klemens Roiter open-shoved for 500,000 from the hijack, and it folded to Lexy Gavin-Mather in the big blind, who called.
Klemens Roiter: A♠7♦
Lexy Gavin-Mather: K♥Q♥
The runout of 5♠10♣K♣2♦9♥ fell Gavin-Mather's way, and she took the pot with a pair of kings. The 2025 WSOP Monster Stack bracelet winner took the walk to the rail, about 20 spots short of the money.
In a four-way pot on a flop of 7♦J♠4♦, action checked to Tomas Jozonis on the button and he bet 150,000. Benny Glaser called in the small blind and Jean-Robert Bellande and Daniel Negreanu folded behind him.
Glaser checked on the 4♥ turn and Jozonis sized up to 600,000 to bring a fold from the eight-time bracelet winner.
The stacked table also includes high-stakes pro Christoph Vogelsang and all-time money leader Bryn Kenney, leading a bystander to comment that it was a "fun table."
With a new crew on the Lagoon feature table, Andre Moreira opened for 120,000 from the hijack, Ryan Depaulo flatted from the cutoff, then James Caputo three-bet for 300,000 from the button.
After both blinds folded, Moreira moved in for 890,000 total. Depaulo glanced to his right and left as the three players were starting to experience déjà vu from the controversial hand they had during the previous level. He opted to send his 8♠8♦ into the muck. Caputo made it clear he was calling, having Moreira covered.
Andre Moreira: J♠J♥
James Caputo: K♦K♣
For the second time in two levels, Moreira had run pocket jacks into pocket kings and this time he was covered by his opponent. The board ran out A♣6♦6♥4♦Q♠ and brought no help for Moreira, who reported to the rail, while Caputo chipped up to 4.5 million.
