Tommy Nguyen opened to 200,000 in the cutoff, and Dennys Ramos made the call on the button. Kayhan Mokri came along in the big blind, and action checked around on the 8♣K♦J♥ flop.
Mokri led out for 180,000 on the 2♠ turn, with only Nguyen sticking around. Another lead from Mokri followed the 7♣ river, sliding out 485,000 while leaving a single yellow 1,000 chip behind.
After taking a moment, Nguyen stuck in the call. Mokri tabled K♥8♥ for two pair, earning more than a double as Nguyen mucked.
Jean-Robert Bellande opened to 200,000 from the cutoff before Amirpasha Emami made it 750,000 from the small blind. Christoph Vogelsang called off his last 695,000 from the big blind. Bellande folded.
Christoph Vogelsang: A♦K♠
Amirpasha Emami: K♥10♣
Emami picked up a straight draw on the J♦9♦6♠ flop, which came in on the Q♣ turn. The 3♠ river was not the ten that Vogelsang needed and he departed.
Four tables were paused for all ins, with two players surviving into the money.
In the first bubble elimination, Robert Cowen was forced all in from the big blind as Orpen Kisacikoglu on the button played against Eric Wasserson in the small blind.
Wasserson bet on the flop of A♣A♥6♦ and Kisacikoglu called. The two then checked down the J♣ turn and 4♣ river.
Wasserson showed 9♥9♠ for a pair of nines to beat out the 10♠5♣ of Cowen and the K♣Q♦ of Kisacikoglu to send the former to the rail on the money bubble.
The last hand to see action was on table 121, where Aylar Lie was forced all in from the big blind and at risk heads-up against Alex Anton after the 3♥3♣5♦ flop.
Aylar Lie: J♦8♥
Alex Anton: A♦K♦
Lie was looking for help but found none on the 3♦ turn, while the 6♦ river gave Anton a flush.
That sent Lie to the rail, where she chopped 202nd place with Cowen for $25,000 each after 16 rounds of hand-for-hand action.
Michael Komatz was forced all-in from the big blind. Tom Talboom opened to 200,000 from under the gun, which folded out the table.
Michael Komatz: 6♣4♦
Tom Talboom: Q♥J♣
Komatz asked the dealer for a 7-5-3 flop; instead, he was rewarded with something slightly better. The dealer put out the 8♥7♠5♥ flop, giving Komatz an eight-high straight. The 6♦ ensured him at least half the pot as Talboom could only chop. The 2♣ river sealed Komatz the checkmark, and he doubled up.
Matthias Eibinger was forced all-in from the big blind for his last 100,000, and Raffael Pereira in the small blind, who claimed to not look at his hand, called to put him at risk.
Matthias Eibinger: A♥4♠
Raffael Pereira: Q♦Q♣
Eibinger unfortunately ran into queens, but picked up extra outs on the 4♥6♣10♣ flop. He then jumped into the lead after the A♣ on the turn, although Pereira picked up a flush draw to go along with his two queen outs. The river was the 3♠, and Eibinger was able to find a double-up.
Michael Komatz moved his last 10,000 into the middle from the cutoff, and Tom Talboom raised to 200,000 on the button. Benjamin Leblond came along in the big blind, and the Q♠Q♥7♠ flop hit the felt.
Leblond checked to Talboom, who continued for 125,000. That was enough to claim the side pot, as Leblond folded and the hands were turned up.
Michael Komatz: A♥Q♣
Tom Talboom: 8♣4♠
The table laughed as Komatz revealed his trip queens. The 4♣ turn and 5♦ river completed the board, and Komatz turned his 10,000 into 140,000 on the stone bubble.
