Asipauskas Bets Big

Level 24 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Dennys Ramos raised to 800,000 in early position, finding a call from Rokas Asipauskas in the cutoff.

Ramos checked the 4108 flop, where Asipauskas took some time before firing a bet of 800,000. The call was made, and Ramos checked again on the K turn.

Asipauskas slid out 2,500,000, taking down the pot as Ramos let his hand go.

Theologis Takes a Big One

Level 23 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Action folded to Ivan Stokes on the button, and he raised to 750,000. It then folded to Alexandros Theologis in the big blind, who three-bet to 2,600,000. Stokes made the call.

After the 63J flop, Stokes called a bet of 1,000,000 from Theologis.

The turn brought the 3 and Theologis check-called a bet of 3,000,000.

Both players elected to check after the 3 on the river. Theologis tabled 88 to take the pot with his full house, threes full of eights after Stokes mucked.

Gustavo Silva Campos

A champion has already been crowned in the WSOP Super Main Event despite there still being more than a hundred players remaining. That's because Gustavo Silva was multi-tabling online and shipped the $10,300 buy-in GGMillion$ High Roller for $223,824.

"Time to focus now," Silva said as he put his laptop away and went to work with his stack of around 14,000,000 here in the Super Main Event.

Silva will need to get at least 39th place to top the Brazilian's latest online score.

How to Exploit Non-GTO Players With GTO Wizard

Level 23 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
GTO Wizard
GTO Wizard

There is a common misconception that you do not need to study Game Theory Optimal (GTO) strategies if you frequent low-to-mid-stakes games. While it is true that many players at these limits stray far away from equilibrium, using a solver like GTO Wizard can still provide significant benefits.

Knowing about poker's fundamental factors and strategic concepts, and being able to identify what your opponents are doing wrong, enables you to devise a strategy to capitalize on those errors.

Peter Chien opened to 550,000 in early position, and Sinan Unlu moved all in on the button. Chien made the call, and the cards were turned up.

Chien was in great shape for the knockout until the A49 flop gave Unlu a set of nines. The 3 turn changed nothing, while Unlu pumped his fist as the 9 river saw him improve to quads while doubling up.
