Kadylo Makes the Wrong Call

Manuel Pope Almeida raised to 9,000 from under the gun. Both Morris Kadylo from the middle position and Justin Liberto in the hijack called.

The flop came Q22. Almeida continued with a bet of 11,000 for only Kadylo to call.

The turn was the 5. Almeida slowed down but check-called the 9,000 bet Kadylo put in.

The river completed the board with the 10. Almeida flicked in a 25,000-chip for Kadylo to call and immediately reveal his 99 for two pair. Almeida flipped his Q8 over for the higher two pair and the pot.

Felipe Ketzer made it 9,000 from early position, with an opponent calling. Mike Watson then made it 55,000 from the big blind, prompting Ketzer to four-bet to 110,000. After the player in the middle folded, Watson called.

Watson check-called bets of 59,000 and 92,000 for the board to read J52K2. Watson checked for a third time, and Ketzer jammed for 139,000. Watson wasn't a fan of the spot, but decided to call after mulling over his options.

Ketzer tabled KK for top set, besting Watson's AJ.
