"Bullet Four It Is"

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Danny Tang
Danny Tang

Alexander Zubov opened to 13,000 from middle position and was called by Alex Foxen on the button and the big blind Danny Tang.

The flop came 3J5 and once Tang checked, Zubov bet out 15,000. Foxen mucked, but Tang made the call.

After the 9 on the turn, Tang check-called a bet of 65,000 from Zubov.

The river brought the 7, and once Tang checked Zubov bet 225,000, enough to put Tang all in. Tang sat deep in the tank, throwing at several time banks right away. As he sat in the tank he said, "Rebuy still open right?" before later adding "I don't like to fold. I have a good hand". After using a total of four-time banks, Tang put in the call. Zubov tabled QQ and his pocket queens were best, as Tang flashed the J as he left the table, saying "Bullet four it is".

Wild Ride for Oganyan

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Aram Oganyan
Aram Oganyan

Aleksejs Ponakovs opened to 12,000 before Aram Oganyan made it 36,000 from the next seat over. It folded back to Ponakovs, who four-bet to 70,000. Oganyan covered Ponakovs by 16,000 and jammed. Ponakovs called for the 170,000 more he had behind.

Ponakovs tabled KK and was ahead of AK. The kings held on the 86389 runout.

On the next deal, Oganyan raised to 12,000 from the hijack and was called by Harvey Jackson from the cutoff. Corey Kempson called from the big blind. It checked through to the river for the board to read A944Q. It checked to Jackson, who bet 30,000. Kempson called and Oganyan decided to preserve his last 4,000 and folded. Jackson tabled K8 for a flush and took in the pot.

Straight after, Oganyan put in his last 4,000. Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 15,000 from the button and Christoph Vogelsang came along from the big blind. Vogelsang check-folded to a bet of 15,000 on the KQ5 flop for the cards to go on their backs. Oganyan was ahead with Q9, while Thorel had A6. The 89 runout kept Oganyan alive.

Now under-the-gun, Oganyan shoved for 21,000. Jackson made it 36,000 and folded out the table.

Aram Oganyan: KQAll in
Harvey Jackson: 1010

Oganyan took the lead on the Q28 flop and remained ahead after the 3 turn. However, his spin up hopes ended when Jackson hit his two-outer on the 10 river.

"That hurt more than anything else," Oganyan laughed as he left the table.

Petrangelo Jams the River

Level 8 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop, in a pot involving Michael Gathy and Nick Petrangelo, with roughly 100,000 in the middle.

After the clop came 5210 Gathy bet out 35,000, which was called by Petrangelo.

Both players checked the 8 on the turn, which brought the J on the river. Gathy then fired out 55,000, and Petrangelo moved all in for roughly 130,000. Gathy wasted little time before tossing his cards in the muck, giving the pot to Petrangelo.

Another One for Negreanu

Level 8 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Espen Jorstad opened to 11,000 from the hijack and Daniel Negreanu called from the big blind.

Negreanu check-called for 7,500 on the K105 flop before the turn and river was jovially checked through to showdown.

"King," announced Negreanu, who had K8. Jorstad mucked.

"I'm glad you had showdown value. Could've been a tough spot," Negreanu said as he raked in the chips before adding that Jorstad was looking leaner.

The 2023 WSOP Main Event champ confirmed he'd dropped 7 kilograms "by design."

Good Flop for Theologis

Level 8 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Roeland Peeks opened to 11,000. Alexandros Theologis made it 103,500, leaving 500 behind. Peeks called and tabled 55, not seeing Theologis had a chip behind.

Theologis was spearated from Peeks by the dealer, and the shot clock further obstructed his view so he didn't actually see Peeks' holding. After some clear up, the hand continued.

Theologis committed his last chip on the AAJ flop after Peeks bet.

Alexandros Theologis: AQAll in
Roeland Peeks: 55

Theologis, who had aces cracked by kings earlier on, avoided another bad beat as the board completed with the 84.

Hugo Machado opened to 11,000 from the hijack and called when Alex Foxen three-bet to 35,000 from the cutoff.

Machado check-called for 24,000 on the QQJ flop before the 4 turn checked through to the 5 river. Machado bet 35,000 and folded out Foxen.

Negreanu Cracks Kings to Stay Alive

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Ben Heath opened to 11,000 from the cutoff and Daniel Negreanu defended his big blind.

Negreanu checked in the dark, joking that he was “an old guy,” before the dealer spread the Q73 flop. Heath continued for 9,000 and Negreanu check-raised to 30,000, leaving himself 86,500 behind. Heath, covering, moved all-in.

Negreanu pulled out his phone to film the moment for his vlog, saying he was either doubling either through Heath or via a fresh reentry, and called off his stack.

Daniel Negreanu: Q8All in
Ben Heath: KK

Heath’s Kings stayed ahead on the 6 turn, but the Q river gave Negreanu trips to secure the double and, for now, keep him away from the reentry desk.

It checked to Foxen on the A103 flop and she bet 11,000. Only Thorel called.
