Dan Smith opened to 1,500 from early position, Jason Mercier, who evidently doubled with aces earlier, three-bet to 3,625 on the button, and Ovi Balaj four-bet to 13,300 from the small blind. Smith tank folded, and Mercier tank-called.
The dealer fanned , and Balaj led out for 21,000. Mercier released, but he's still very happy with his day thus far.
David Vamplew and a second player checked on a flop of . Peter Dragar fired 4,000, and only Vamplew called.
The turn was the , and Vamplew checked again. Dragar moved all in for effectively 20,000 or so, and Vamplew called tabling . Dragar showed , and the completed the board, doubling Vamplew to around 60,000 chips.
It all started when Franck Kalfon opened to 1,800 form early position. Sami Zakhary moved all in for 5,500 from middle position, Jacques Enjoubault quickly called in middle position, and Nicolas Cardyn cold four-bet to 14,000 on the button. Kalfon released, and without hesitation, Enjoubault called.
The flop fell , and Enjoubault fired 22,000. Cardyn went into the tank, then moved all in for 73,1000. Enjoubault snapped it off, and all three hands were tabled.

Cardyn faded a flush, a five, and an eight on the turn (), and the river (), shipping a massive pot to put him among the chip leaders. Enjoubault took a serious hit, and Zakhary hit the rail.
The prize pool information has finally be released. The 228 entrants created a total pool of €1,624,500, and the first-place prize is €400,00 (which includes a seat into the $25,000 World Poker Tour Championship event to be held in May of 2013).
