Lemonnier Fighting

Julien Lemonnier is one of the remaining PMU.fr online qualifiers and he just opened to 22,000 twice before facing a three-bet by Aurelie Reard in the first hand and Pierrick Burban in the second hand. Both times the Frenchman folded before then three-bet shoving for 21 big blinds into an open raise by Burban. That shut down the action and the pot was sent to Lemonnier.

Belatik First Chip Millionaire

On the three-way turn showing {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{K-Hearts}, Anas Belatik in the small blind, Vincent Mansour in the big blind and initial raiser Emile Carette from under the gun all invested 35,000. The {J-Diamonds} river was checked through and Belatik showed {K-Spades}{9-Spades} for trips kings to win the pot and become the first chip millionaire in this tournament.

Grabsi Gets There Against Leibgorin

In a three-bet pot with more than 160,000 in the middle already, a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} emerged. Malek Grabsi was all in for his last 113,000 and Michel Leibgorin called.

Ciancanelli Eliminated in Two Hands

Teresio Ciancanelli defended his big blind against a raise by Michel Leibgorin on the button and check-called a bet of 15,000 on the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop. On the {5-Diamonds} turn, Ciancanelli checked, Leibgorin bet 20,000 and then faced a check-raise to 150,000 by Ciancanelli.

Leibgorin shoved for 310,000 and was quickly called to cre<te the following showdown.

Despite turning the nut flush, Ciancanelli only had one out for the straight flush and the {4-Clubs} river was of no help.

Soon after, Ciancanelli got it in for the last six big blinds with {A-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Jean-Jacques Chantalat looked him up with the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The board came {J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{K-Spades}{10-Spades} and Ciancanelli fell in 30th place.

Burban Takes from Laudicina

Alexandra Laudicina raised to 22,000 and was called by Pierrick Burban from one seat over. On the flop of {Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Laudicina bet 30,000 and Burban almost immediately min-raised to 60,000. Laudicina gave it some consideration and folded.

Davies's Stack Vanishes

The short stack grind of Will Davies eventually came to an end. Down to 76,000, the Brit shoved from early position and the action reached Damien Lhommeau in the cutoff, who just called. Pierre Barthelemy seemed interested in the big blind but folded.

"Ace queen?" Davies asked before showing his {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}, but instead Lhommeau quickly flipped over {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}. The Brit was hoping fort a sweat on the flop, but ended up drawing dead on the turn of a board {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} instead to bust in 31st place.
