Van der Reijnst seemed to give up on his bluff as he checked back the 10♠7♣Q♦ flop, but he changed his mind on the 8♥ turn as he pushed in a bet of 1,500,000.

Marfil quickly got rid of his pair, surrendering the pot to the Dutchman.

The 2♠ turn and A♦ river then checked to showdown, where Lehto won the pot with 6♥5♥, besting the 8♣7♠ of Matonis.

The A♠ turn halted Matonis' aggression as he checked it over to Marfil. Marfil opted for a size of 475,000, and Matonis decided to call.

Matonis checked again on the 6♥ river. Marfil piled in a bet of 1,400,000, which Matonis called after some time in the tank. Marfil showed K♥4♥ for flopped trips, letting Matonis know that his Q♦9♣ was no good.

Matonis Three-Bets Into Aces, Regains Next Hand

Kai Lehto raised to 500,000 in the hijack with A♠A♦. Egidijus Matonis responded with a three-bet to 1,400,000 in the cutoff, holding 10♥5♥. Lehto then four-bet to 3,300,000, and Matonis got rid of his adventurous hand.

On the next deal, Egidijus Matonis was the one to raise preflop, making it 500,000 with A♠K♦ in the hijack. Julian Selinger sat in the big blind and defended 9♣8♥. Matonis bet 400,000 on the K♣K♠9♠ flop, and Selinger check-called.

Matonis sized up to 950,000 on the 10♥ turn. Selinger wisely gave up on his pair as Matonis took down the pot without needing to show his trips.

Matonis led out with a bet of 950,000 with his turned set. Marfil quickly released his cards, and Van der Reijnst folded his second pair correctly to forfeit the pot to Matonis.
