Gordo Snaps Off Falk's Bluff

Big blind Guillermo Gordo and Patrik Falk in the cutoff had gathered a pot of 37,000 when they went to the A♠K♦J♠ flop. Gordo fired a bet of 5,800, which Falk called.

The duo then both checked the 6♠ turn, after which Gordo pushed in another 5,800 on the 4♦ river. Falk then moved all in, and Gordo instantly called off his stack of 44,100.

Falk showed top pair with A♣9♣, but Gordo had the higher kicker with A♦Q♣ to be awarded the pot.

"I hoped that hand folds," Falk admitted as Gordo raked in his double-up.

Last summer, Jenny Westerlund claimed the WSOP Circuit Main Event ring after a breathtaking final table performance at the record-breaking 2025 WSOPC Tallinn.

The Swede came into the day second in chips and wasted no time asserting herself, playing an aggressive style that saw her rise to the top of a record 888-entry field at OlyBet’s Olympic Park Casino.

For the win, Westerlund took home €200,200, by far her biggest live result, along with the €5,000 Ticket to WSOP Paradise package. Her previous best cash was $42,451, at the Nordic Masters of Poker over ten years ago.

Picking up the action on a 3♦10♥2♥5♠ turn with 29,000 already gathered in the pot, Raul Reyna bet 25,000 from the small blind. Adomas Juozapavicius called under the gun, seeing his opponent move all in on the 4♥ river.

Juozapavicius' stack of 25,000 was barely covered, but he opted to not to risk and mucked his hand to admit defeat.

Lluis Murcia raised to 2,000 in the cutoff. Gerardas Luksenas then three-bet to 7,000 on the button, and Murcia responded by going all in for 36,000. Luksenas quickly called with the covering stack.

The table expected a chop, but Murcia turned a freeroll on 5♥6♠K♠9♠. The J♠ river brought a fourth spade on the board, doubling up Murcia to Luksenas' disgust.

Raivis Pucurs raised to 2,200 under the gun. Espen Ringstad called in the hijack, prompting Yeray Cuesta to squeeze in a three-bet to 9,500 in the cutoff. Pucurs folded before Ringstad called.

Ringstad check-called Cuesta's continuation-bet of 3,500 on the J♥5♣Q♣ flop. Cuesta sized up to 5,500 on the 4♣ turn, but this time Ringstad check-raised all in.

Cuesta quickly folded, leaving himself 40 big blinds to play with.

Three-way to the 2♣8♥9♦ flop, Yeray Cuesta checked from early position to Dmitri Dudakov in middle position, who bet 3,000. Arun Sardana called in the hijack before Cuesta raised to 8,000.

Dudakov quickly mucked, but Sardana stuck around with a call. Cuesta tossed in 5,500 on the 9♣ turn, but this time it was Sardana who raised, putting in 16,500. Cuesta called to the 8♣ river, where he led all in for around 15,000.

Sardana went into the tank, eventually deciding to fold his hand. He claimed to have aces and showed the A♦, prompting Cuesta to table the 9♠ as he raked in the chips.
