Furst Crippled

Rafe Furst raised on the button to 1,200. The small blind reraised all in for 7,625. Furst counted out his chip stack and tanked for several minutes.

He barely had his opponent covered and made the call with {K-Spades} {Q-Hearts}. His opponent showed pocket tens.

The flop didn't look good for Furst when it came {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {5-Hearts}, but it did give him a straight draw and a flush draw.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Furst's opponent had to sweat another card. But the river was the {9-Spades} and gave Furst's opponent a full house and crippled Furst to only 600 chips.

Noah Boeken Out

Noah Boeken moved all in before the flop and was called by two opponents. Boeken held {J-Hearts} {J-Spades} and watched the board run out {9-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} as his opponents checked the hand down until the river. One opponent mucked after the other made a bet of 2,200.

At the showdown, Boeken saw his hand go down to two pair with the {K-Spades} {9-Spades}. He has been eliminated from today's play.

Tom Savitsky Triples Up... With the Worst Hand

An under-the-gun player bet 600. Two players called from middle position, including Tom Savitsky, along with the cutoff. The button raised all in, making it 3,800 to go. Everyone folded, even the original raiser, to Savitsky who called all in for 3,000 total. The cutoff also called the reraise and had both players covered.

Savitsky: {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts}
Cutoff: {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades}
Button: {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs}

The flop gave the worst hand the best hand when it came {Q-Hearts} {8-Spades} {3-Diamonds}. The turn came the {7-Clubs} and the river the {10-Diamonds}, and allowed Savitsky to triple up and then some.

Yang Massaged

Jerry Yang just called for a massage therapist. When she arrived at his table, she very deliberately explained the cost, "Okay sir, do you know it's going to be two dollars per minute?"

Yang simply shrugged.

He'll be broke in about four million minutes.

A Nice Call by Morgan

Jordan Morgan made a call of 900 after his opponent bet the turn on a board of {J-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}. The river was the {3-Spades} and Morgan's opponent bet 900 again. After some thought, Morgan made the call with just a pair of sevens, as he held {7-Clubs} {4-Clubs}. His opponent showed a pocket pair of sixes and Morgan won the hand.

Landrum Makes a Push

A preflop raiser bet out 1,100 on a board of {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {10-Spades}. Sabyl Landrum (formerly Cohen) made a raise to 3,500 that sent her opponent into the tank for a few minutes. Finally, her opponent moved all in and Landrum called, showing {A-Spades} {J-Spades}. Her opponent showed {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs}.

The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and the river the {8-Diamonds}, giving Landrum the best hand. She now has almost 19,000 chips.
