Mizrachi Miserable

From early position, The Grinder puts in a raise to 325. It folds all the way around to the big blind, who makes the call. The flop comes {A-?} {6-?} {7-?} . The big blind checks and Mizrachi makes a continuation bet of 525. His opponent calls.

The turn card brings a {5-?} , and the big blind passes once again. Mizrachi moves all in for his last 1,200, and is quickly called. The Grinder shows {A-?} {Q-?} , while his opponent caught up on the turn, making a straight with his {8-?} {9-?} .

Mizrachi is drawing dead to the river, {2-?} , and he is eliminated from today's event.

Vahedi Doubles Up

Amir Vahedi moved all in after the flop came {5-Spades} {4-Hearts} {2-Spades} holding {4-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds}. An opponent called and showed {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}. The turn was the {K-Spades} and the river the {6-Hearts} to give Amir a straight and the best hand.

Vahedi doubled to around 6,700.

Gazing at Three Big Pairs

From early position, a player puts in a raise to 300. The person next to act reraises it to 800. Action is folded around to the small blind, where Billy Gazes comes back over the top of both men, making it 2,200 to go. His two opponents make the call.

The flop comes down {9-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {6-Spades}, and Gazes makes a covering bet of 3,000. The initial raiser calls all in, while the second opponent folds, showing {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}.

It was a darn good laydown. Gazes tables {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}, while his opponent has the preflop nuts, {A-Spades} {A-Clubs}!

The turn and river come {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}, and Gazes ships a big chunk of his stack across the table. He now has about 2,400 remaining.

Laak Increases

Phil Laak limped from the cutoff after the player under the gun limped as well. The big blind made it 300 to and both limpers called.

Flop came {6-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {2-Spades} and the big blind led out for 275. The under-the-gun player folded and Laak called.

The big blind bet out 450 when the {8-Clubs} fell on the turn and Laak again called.

After the river fell the {7-Diamonds}, Laak called the 600 bet from the big blind and showed {10-Spades} {10-Hearts}. His opponent mucked.
