Nikolay Losev Picks Up a Pot

Nikolay Losev raised to 175,000 from UTG and Toni Cristian called from the button. The flop was {9-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {4-Hearts}. Losev checked, Cristian bet 225,000 and Losev called. When the turn came the {8-Hearts} Losev check-raised Cristian's 400,000 bet all in and Judet gave it up.

Losev is now up to 2,750,000 while Cristian sits at 5,610,000.

Nguyen Doubles With Queens

Phi Nguyen
Phi Nguyen
Cristian Dragomir opened with a raise to 180,000 from early position and the action folded around to Phi Nugyen in the small blind who moved all in. Joe Bishop folded his big blind and Dragomir deliberated the 470,000-chip decision, before making the call to give us our third all-in confrontation in three consecutive hands on the feature table!

Dragomir: {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Nguyen: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Spades} and Nguyen doubles up to about 1.4 million chips!

Marquis Bests Cantu in Biggest Pot of Tournament

Craig Marquis
Craig Marquis
Aaron Gordon raised to 200,000 from early position and Brandon Cantu called from middle position. Craig Marquis, next to act, raised to 700,000 total. Gordon passed but Cantu made the call.

The flop came {J-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {5-Spades} and both players checked. When the {A-Diamonds} hit the turn, Cantu checked. Marquis bet 200,000 and Cantu made it one million straight. Marquis called and they saw a river.

The {10-Clubs} hit the river and Cantu pushed all in. Marquis snap-called and Cantu instantly mucked his hand. Marquis, while not required, showed {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades}.

Craig Marquis took down the pot of just over 12 million in chips. Cantu was left not only shaking his head, but with just under four million in chips.

Garrett Beckman Doubles Through Dennis Phillips

Garrett Beckman
Garrett Beckman
Garrett Beckman open-raised all in for 870,000 from middle position. Dennis Phillips called from the button and the blinds passed. With action complete, the players showed:

Beckman: {K-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}
Phillips: {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}

Beckman caught a piece of the {J-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {4-Hearts} flop, but not enough to take the lead. The {J-Hearts} on the turn however put him ahead. Phillips needed a queen to win the hand and eliminate Beckman, but the river was the {K-Clubs} giving Beckman an even bigger full house.

Beckman doubled to just short of two million while the hit to Phillips' stack left him with just shy of nine million in chips.

Chris Klodnicki = Ace Magnet

On a flop of {Q-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} Scott Montgomery checked, Chris Klodnicki bet 225,000 and Montgomery called. The turn was the {3-Spades} and Montgomery check-called a 500,000 bet from Klodnicki. The river was the {J-Clubs}. Montgomery checked a third time, Klodnicki bet 1,000,000 and Montgomery called.

Klodnicki showed {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} (again) and dragged the pot.

Michelle Picks Up the Rockets

Tiffany Michelle limped in from under the gun and Phi Nguyen called from late position. Albert Kim completed from the small blind and Cristian Dragomir checked his big blind option and it was four players to the flop.

The flop came {7-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} and action checked to Michelle. She bet 300,000 and only Nguyen made the call. The turn came the {10-Clubs} and both players checked.

When the river fell the {6-Hearts}, Michelle led out for 300,000 again. Nguyen made the call and Michelle showed {A-Spades} {A-Hearts}. Nguyen mucked and Michelle took down the pot. She is now just over 8.3 million chips.

Crowe Knows

Owen "ocrowe" Crowe
Owen "ocrowe" Crowe
Scott Montgomery raised to 150,000, Dean Hamrick called from the button and Owen Crowe called from the big blind. The flop was {10-Hearts} {6-Spades} {3-Clubs} and the action was checked around. The turn was the {5-Hearts}. Crowe bet 300,000, Montgomery called and Hamrick folded. The river was the {8-Clubs}. Crowe bet 600,000 and Montgomery gave it up.

After the hand, Crowe was up to 2,750,000. Montgomery had 3,900,000.

Kelly Kim Loses a Customer

Under the gun, Kelly Kim raised to 180,000 and Tim Loecke called from the cutoff and Nicholas Sliwinski and Nikolay Losev from the blinds. The flop came {2-Clubs} {5-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} and, after Sliwinksi and Losev checked, Kim bet 400,000. That was enough to chase out Loecke and Sliwinski, but Losev made the call. The turn brought the {6-Diamonds}; Losev checked and when Kim bet one million, Losev immediately folded. And a good fold it was -- Kim flashed {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts} for top set. He's now up to 8.88 million while Losev was left with just 1.8 million.
