Thin Value For Yang

When Jerry Yang is running hot, watch out! Even ace-high is good enough for Yang at the moment, after we just saw him bet 800 into the pot on a board of {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{K-Spades}.

His opponent made the call and Yang tabled {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. It was good, as Yang rakes in another pot. He's floating around the 20,000 chip mark.

Baby Flush Good For Bolotin

Alex Bolotin has doubled up and once again he had to do it the hard way. Catching the action on a flop of {6-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, a player in the big blind led out for 1,100 into a pot worth 2,000 before Bolotin moved all in. His opponent made the call and the cards were on their backs:

Bolotin: {2-Spades}{3-Spades}
Big Blind: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Bolotin needed some help to make his flush to survive. The turn bricked but the river was the {J-Spades} to complete his flush and Bolotin doubles to around 10,000.

Saul Finds Fortunate Double

Kevin Saul has just found a fortunate double up in a battle of the blinds. After the small blind completed, Saul moved all in for his last chips from the big blind with {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades} but the small blind made the call and tabled a dominant {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The board was spread {5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Saul makes a straight to the nine to double up.

"I run pretty good..." he chuckled as he stacked up 6,000 in chips.

Oh Yea!

We've just spotted Steve Yea in the field and he's wielding a big stack. In a small pot we watched as he raised under the gun to 400 with just the cutoff making the call.

The board of {J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades} was checked through until the river where Yea released 775. His opponent eyeballed Yea and quipped, "Is ace-high good?"

Yea replied, "Well, it depends on your kicker!"

We didn't get to find out as the cutoff folded and Yea added to his stack which is now close to 23,000.

Royal Flush For Jesse Chinni

It's been a crazy few minutes on the table of Isaac Haxton and Alex Bolotin. First we saw Bolotin double up with a three-outer after he moved all in with {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} against an opponent in Seat 3 who held {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}. The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and Bolotin doubles to 6,000.

The player in Seat 3 was down to his last 1,050 and got it in next hand against Jesse Chinni on a flop of {K-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. The unknown player tabled {A-Spades}{5-Hearts} for top pair but Chinni showed {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a Royal Flush!

"Floor! Is there a bonus for a Royal?" called Haxton. Unfortunately the only bonus for Chinni was the elimination of his opponent and the pleasure of raking in the chips!

Bad Flip for Boeken

Noah Boeken opened the pot with a 6000-chip raise on the button and the player in the big blind went all in for an adttional 3,000 chips. Boeken eventually called.

Showdown
Boeken: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Board: {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Boeken slipped to 8,000 chips.
