Kevin Boudreau Leads The Way

A young man by the name of Kevin Boudreau just approached our desk to let us know he was sitting with a mammoth 57,000 chips. He was also happy to learn that puts him into the chip lead.

Boudreau also let us know that he's had two cashes already this series and is well on the way to making it number three, so we'll be keeping a close eye on his progress!

Liebert Busto

The cards were already on their backs as we arrived to see Kathy Liebert all in with her tournament life at stake.

Liebert: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Liebert's kings are not enough and she is sent to the exit.

Easy Come, Easy Go

Following a raise and re-raise preflop, Jerry Yang and Darren Wong took a flop of {10-Clubs}{A-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Yang checked and Wong bet 1,525. Yang then check-raised to 4,000 before Wong moved all in. Yang insta-called and the cards were tabled:

Wong: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Yang: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The turn and river bricked out and Yang loses a chunk of change as Wong doubles to 23,500. Yang is suddenly back down to 17,500.

"These cards have been flying over here!" chuckled Robert Williamson III who shares that table as the players headed off to their break.

Kling Out

Lauren Kling
Lauren Kling

Media row is saddened to report that Lauren Kling has been eliminated from the tournament. Kling struggled to get much going today and was down to her last 1,200 in chips before failing to double up as she hit the rail.
