Kostritsyn Doubles Through Alaei

Razz

Alexander Kostritsyn has found a much needed double up through Daniel Alaei in a recent hand of Razz. The action was re-raised on third street, before Kostritsyn took control and fired bets on every street until he was all in on sixth. Alaei made him earn it and called him down. The boards ran out as follows:

Alaei: ({3-}{4-}) {A-}{Q-}{Q-}{8-} ({4-})
Kostritsyn: ({5-}{8-}) {A-}{7-}{2-}{9-} ({5-})

Alaei double-paired to leave himself with just a queen-low as Kostritsyn's eighty-seven was good to double up to 500,000. Alaei slips back to 820,000.

Alaei Runs Down Mizrachi

Limit Hold'em

Daniel Alaei raised it up from under the gun and Robert Mizrachi made the call in the big blind. They took a flop of {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Mizrachi checked, before raising the bet of Alaei who responded with a call. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Mizrachi's bet was called before the {2-Hearts} put four hearts on board.

Mizrachi slowed down and checked with Alaei checking behind. Mizrachi tabled {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for the overpair but Alaei's {J-Hearts}{K-Spades} had found running hearts to make a flush and collect the pot. Alaei is up to 1.1 million with Mizrachi down to 2.25 million.
